Many have lashed out at Alcorn's parents online for everything from continuing to refer to Alcorn as Joshua to allegedly subjecting her to "conversion therapy," which involves the use of prayer or other means to try to change someone's sexual orientation. New Jersey and California have passed laws against it.
Alcorn's parents, Carla and Doug Alcorn, have said little publicly other than to express their love and grief for the child they lost. But Tim Tripp, the family minister for Northeast Church of Christ involved in counseling the Alcorns, emphatically denied using conversion therapy.
"I do not do nor have I ever done or attempted 'conversion therapy' for anyone related to issues of gender or sexual identity," Tripp said in an email. "I do offer counseling here at the church, but it is primarily pastoral in nature and seeks healing for individuals, marriages and families experiencing some sort of struggle in their lives."
Of the family, Tripp said he continues "walking with them through immense and all-too-public grief in their loss."

No one is “transgender.” There are people who chop off their organs and/or try to form new ones.
No one is born “the wrong sex.”
I agree although the left would immediately counter with, “Well what about hermaphrodites?”. But that’s the left - highlighting and exploiting the fringes, exceptions, and perversions of a situation instead of celebrating normalcy.
I wouldn’t care if he HAD gone thru conversion therapy. Someone who wants to pretend they are a different sex than their body parts indicate is deeply troubled and needs lots of therapy - and that therapy should not be oriented at helping them enjoy their twisted view of themselves.
There are people who want to have their arms or legs removed because they view them as foreign. Would anyone suggest we allow surgery to remove the body part?

I had a 6 year old nephew who liked to pretend that he was a robot. At one point, he said he couldn't help the other kids clean up because his battery was drained. I guess I psychologically scarred him for life when I told him to stop the crap and to get up and help instead of playing along with his nonsense.
When a boy comes home and tells you to start calling him by a girls name, you don't play along with the nonsense.

Awhile back they did a study on drinking water in Milwaukee Wisconsin and found fecal matter,estrogen, vicodan and more. The purification process did not remove these from the water. Kinda answers why so many city boys are wussys.
But let us all keep pretending this isn’t a mental disorder! It feels good to play along and pretend everything is normal with this nonsense! These people need help, and an entire society pretending they aren’t mentally ill - and even celebrating it - is not help!

I would be willing to classify those unfortunate people as “transgendered” - but no one who is xy or xx should ever be able to lay claim to that term.
