It’s weird but I was going to say the storm I remember was in 1977. Then another one in the 80s and in the mid 90s, we had one year where it snowed every week from January through April. Unlike the fantasies propagated on FR, New Yorkers generally cope quite nicely with snowstorms. It’s the mayors who screw up.
77 or maybe 78 was a big storm. We moved to Vernon, NJ in August of 77 and got a shock with all the snow. lol
