"There's a reason we take a day off to celebrate the 4th of July and not the 15th of April," he said, almost yelling as his voice grew hoarse. "Because in America we value our independence from the government, not our dependence on it.".................Amen!

Well, he did promise to fulfill his obligation stay a full term as Governor, but that doesn’t mean he can’t be there in the thick of it pushing the conservative agenda in a positive way.

Me too...a Walker/Cruz or Cruz/Walker ticket would be a good choice for me.

Walker is the real deal who has walked the talk under very difficult circumstances and won.

That sort of thing can’t be underestimated.

Briefly defining an agenda based upon his Wisconsin experience , Walker cited pro-life legislation, defunding planned parenthood, pulling back excessive government regulations, and enforcing “common sense” not “bureaucratic red tape” in government. He also cited cutting down on frivolous lawsuits and allowing for concealed carry and “castle doctrine” so citizens can stand up and defend their property.

Walker was met with broad applause several times, notably when mentioning requiring a photo ID to vote to preserve election integrity as another part of his agenda.

I like Walker a lot and I think, generally, governors make better presidents than senators do.

He is at the top of my list.

A governor in a Demon Rat state who has defeated the liberals in three elections in five years.

His state is trending up in employment, down in union membership.

Kick ass, Scott.

This all sounds great. Add that to standing up to the public unions -- there's a lot to like here.
