He is arrogant. He is a trash talker. He is an exceptional athlete. But he may not be quite the horrible person some think his is.
Graduated 2nd in class from Stanford - one of the most
competitive universities in the country ........
He’s a very smart man.
I’ve always liked him and now I know why. He is really smart!
Played 2nd half of NFC Championship against Packers with one
arm after suffering sprained elbow
Could see was in real pain.......
“one of the most
competitive universities in the country ........
Yes, it is. ;)
Watched it all. Mom and Dad still married. Mom and Dad can speak English. Mom and Dad work very hard. Mom and Dad did not make up names for their kids. Do you think there is something up with this theory the kids raised in two parent houses do better in life?
Absolutely.
Great video. Thanks for sharing. Still... that young man needs a haircut.
The dude is a multi-millionaire, and his father still gets up at 3:45 in the morning to go to work collecting trash for the city of Los Angeles. No question where that determination, focus and work ethic comes from.
I could not believe that Rodgers never tested him, seeing him like that. It was almost hilarious watching Rodgers on that one run where he was limping, towards Sherman who couldn’t tackle him with only one arm.
So, we all know we’d do it differently....
His way may actually have a better impact for the audience that needs it most.
Have YOU made a bigger, positive impact with your talents?
(Rhetorical question)
"In the building where I live on Park Avenue there are ten people who could buy the Yankees, but none of them could hit a ball out of Yankee Stadium."
LOL.
I thought you were talking about Richard Sherman of the Sherman Brothers who wrote all those great Disney songs.
I just found this video today. As a Seahawks fan, I was really glad to see it and learn more about the guy so many seem to hate.
Big Seahawks fan here too; Richard is a great individual despite his on field cockyness.
Some kids would be embarrassed to say their Dad was a trash man. Richard is proud of his Dad because he has enough sense to see past the job and see who the man is that is doing it.
He may go down as the best db ever.
i am no fan, but he is NO thug... he is smart, competitive, athletic, deliberate... obnoxious? sure... but so what... i bet in person he is fascinating...
For my money, Ronnie Lott, Rod Woodson and Champ Bailey are definitely among the best. And my sentimental favorite is a guy who played his entire career for one of the toughest rivals of my New York Giants: Redskins' cornerback Darrell Green. If there was one player I could have picked from another team in the peak of his career to play ten years for my Giants, it would have been Green.
