There was a local story of someone being declared dead and not receiving their Social Security checks anymore and after getting nowhere with the social security office, he went to the local tv station and they got it straightened out for him.

After I dropped dead from cardiac arrest, was revived and spent 16 days in the hospital, one clown from my mortgage company wanted to know why I was later in paying my monthly mortgage (I croaked on the 11th; payment due by the 15th while I was still in my second coma).

When I told him that I was both dead and in a couple comas and couldn’t write a check, it didn’t register on his peabrain.

I told him that I would eventually send a check when I was able to write it and to fuck off in the meanwhile.

No problems after that.
