‘There will be a price’: Obama team reportedly fuming over Netanyahu visit

The Obama administration reportedly is fuming over Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s plans to address Congress in March regarding the Iranian threat, with one unnamed official telling an Israeli newspaper he will pay “a price” for the snub.
House Speaker John Boehner invited Netanyahu -- and the Israeli leader accepted – without any involvement from the White House.
In public, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest politely describes this as a “departure” from protocol. He also says the president will not meet with Netanyahu when he visits in early March, but has attributed that decision only to a desire not to influence Israel’s upcoming elections.
But in private, Obama’s team is livid with the Israeli leader, according to Haaretz

Our interests and Israel's interests haven't necessarily been aligned over the past 60 years, but have occasionally coincided.
Similarly, our political leaders and Israel's have managed to successfully finesse their relationships in order to achieve shared goals over the same period of time. They've done that regardless of political parties in power in their respective nations. It has been a carefully tended "special relationship" that has generally reflected the care taken.
This doofus is going to mess it all up.

Protocol? I remember Zer0 leaving the Israeli prime minister cooling his heels downstairs at the White House when he interrupted a meeting with him to go upstairs and have dinner with the family.
Obama never earned back respect for him lost by that egotistical and selfish act. But, we have become numb by similar deeds by him.
