White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said Friday that middle-class families concerned about President Obama's plan to raise taxes on their college savings should just send their children to community college.
Obama's plan raises taxes on families saving for college by eliminating the tax-free status of money withdrawn from a 529 savings accounts. "I was very surprised by the Obama 529 proposal because in many ways it is anti-middle class for families trying to afford college," SavingforCollege.com founder Joe Hurley told The New York Times.
Asked to "square" Obama's State of the Union claim that he wanted to make college more affordable for middle-class families with his 529 tax hike, Earnest said, "The reforms the president has proposed for the 529 program are reforms that he would consider only in the context of the other education reforms that he put forward."

529 is just another liberal scheme for “targeted tax cuts” to funnel money to their constituents who run the universities, along with Pell grants, student loans, etc. Why should someone get a tax break for sending their kids to college, but not helping them start a business or buy a house?

Whenever Obama (or pretty much any Democrat) says, “I [or we] want to make it easier for Americans [or ordinary folks or the middle class] to [fill in any activity here],” what is meant is “I [or we] want to make Americans [or ordinary folks or the middle class] absolutely dependent upon government programs to have any means of [fill in any activity here].”

Dr. Khalid Al Mansour was a financial backer and strategic planner for Barack Obama over the span of 29 years. Percy Sutton, attorney revealed this connection in an interview. Mansour solicited a letter of recommendation from Percy Sutton on Obamas behalf to Harvard University. Al Mansour was very well connected with very wealthy Saudis. Among them are one of the richest men in the world, the Saudi Prins Alwaleed. Alwaleed offered a $10 million dollar contribution of the victims of 9-11. The offer was made at the same time as Alwaleed stated that it was the US foreign policy that caused 9-11. The NY Mayor at that time Rudy Guiliani declined the donation and felt insulted by the comments made by the Saudi Prins. Prins Alwaleed may have been the sponsor of the muslim friendly Barack Obama. It is not clear exactly where the money came from. Al Mansour has not told the world about this secret financial arrangement. Obamas family did not have the ability to pay for his college. Additonal information on this subject is requested. Alwaleed donated $20 million to Harvard University to fund Islamic Studies. He also donate large funds to the construction of Mosques and printed Islamic material.
