Last night I went to a dark, drive up ATM at 11pm.

As I pulled up, I deholstered and laid the pistol in my lap, as I presumed any threat would be coming up faster than I could lean forward and draw.

They should also learn to recognize liberals, coexit bumper stickers. They are eager to give robbers money,
especially Black feral robbers.

Years ago I had a friend who had removed the center console in his vehicle, specifically so he could sew a sawed off shotgun holster to his seat.

Close, thanks.
I'd rather have the holster mounted on the front of the seat under my right thigh. Problem is there's not much structure in that location for mounting anything.
Still looking and experimenting with roll-you-own.

You ought to be able to bring something up and off of the seat slide. Mount it to the seat part so it adjusts along with the seat. It is bolt.usually bolted together with a 5/16-8mm

I have been pondering this too. I am thinking of a mount on the side of my console by my right leg and easily hidden by the seat with a towel thrown over it, maybe some variation of a hard shell IWB. Since i carry GLOCKs, less holstering is better. Use this for my 42 as an immediate response until i can get to my 4 o’clock carry weapon. I just don’t like having an unsecured weapon in the car. I have a small gun safe under the front mat for those places, fortunately few here, i can’t carry.
