I agree 100% that there is “climate change” ... or global warming and global cooling. That’s verified 100% throughout earth’s history.
The “hoax” is “ANTHROPOGENIC GLOBAL WARMING”!
Before the little ice age the climate was WARMER than it is now. That was less than 1000 years ago. What did they do then? Well for one thing the cold spell was more damaging to the human race than the warm that preceded it.
I don't even doubt that some of it is man-made. We pump millions of tons of pollutants into the atmosphere. Certainly this has some effect on climate.
My problems with the issue are twofold: For one, I don't believe that climate change is cataclysmic. I believe we will adapt and some regions will actually prosper from a warmer climate. Second, the so-called solutions are farcical. On one end, the cure is to basically plunge our standard of living to pre-industrial levels. That's not going to happen. Failing this, the other solution is a massive transfer of wealth from wealthy nations to poor ones via carbon tax credits. And that's what climate change is REALLY about --a mechanism to transfer our money to third world countries while feeling good about it! Hey! We can keep enjoying our cars and electricity as long as we give money to Sudan! Isn't that awesome!
