The people just summarily repudiated liberalism in the November election. It is one thing for Obama through his actions to lurch left, it is another to telegraph it in words.

What I can't understand is why our guys don't invite, say, the family in Montana who just had three "spontaneous identical triplets" (supposedly a great rarity); or Franklin Graham or (better yet) Sarah Palin?

Or Clint Eastwood or the widow of Chris Kyle? Or maybe a Cuban immigrant or two who have made good here, after fleeing the dictatorship Obama now plans to prop up?

But "our" guys don't do that. They don't want to be so judgemental as to invite a wholesome family, or a Christian, or a self-made man, or even a patriot.

"Our" guys take such people for granted. It's the "moderate," marginal, "independent" voter they have to keep in mind.
