What a small world you live in. I know many conservatives who, because of the job they have, fire fighters, law enforcement and even teachers are members of a union. Even so, they are very conservative people, more so than many in this forum.

Archie Bunker was a WWII veteran who hated democRATs. That's closer to conservative than liberal, here in the real world, that is. And there are a whole lot of "know nothing" conservatives around here (see any pro-Rick Perry thread).
