After failing for months to persuade Washington Redskins owner Daniel Snyder to meet with Native Americans opposed to the teams name, a prominent civil rights organization that works closely with the National Football League is calling for the moniker to change.

Purely a continual effort by the DC city crowd to force the Redskins back into DC (they miss the revenue machine), and once there....all of this heartburn would dry up overnight and disappear. Sorry to say...I just don’t think the Redskins intend to come back into DC city.
This is another front in the war of political correctness to takeover and control everything. Eff them. Target the enemy, investigate their individual leadership. Find the compromising links and expose the cockroaches to the light.

> Located on a 200-acre site, the stadium is the largest in the NFL. Construction began on the privately financed, $250 million facility in March 1996; it was completed, according to the Redskins, in a record 17 months. The Redskins consecutive streak of home sellouts go back 44 seasons.
> NRG executives and Redskins owner Dan Snyder unveiled the new solar installation at FedExField, the largest solar installation at an NFL stadium.
They need to move ten miles north and call themselves the Savage Redskins.
Tell these utopian fascists that if they want to change the name, they can buy the team for 2 billion dollars.
Because the old civil rights movement has been such a great success, it has morphed into the Grievance Industry that bitches about every little perceived slight to the aggrieved protected classes.
They keep trying....
This is NOT about whether the name is offensive. That detail is what the left wants to argue about. And they will do all they can to keep the discussion on whether offending someone should determine outcomes. IT SHOULD NOT.
If they can cement that someone’s taking offense overrules the rights that were given to us by God and are to be protected by our government as outlined in our founding document - then it’s not good.
The argument that the Redskins should be forced to change the name due to offending someone is easily rebutted with being offended by something near and dear to them. It doesn’t freakin’ matter if someone is offended. That is not relevant.
Washington Homos.
Maybe they could change their name to the “Extorteds”?
Jus’ change the mascot to Red Skin Potato Head.
Or the red potatoes are getting on the verboten list too?
Sadly, this would offend tubers everywhere, and would be met with demonstrations from PETS (People for the ethical Treatment of Spuds) and the National Vegetable Action Network.
You do NOT want to piss them off.
None other than the Fritz Pollard Alliance!
Who?
Chairman John Wooten (Not the BB coach)
Executive Director Harry Carson
Former Executive Director Kellen Winslow, Sr.
Director Admin Kristal Wortham
Marketing Advisor Craig Richardson
Counsel (follow the money!)
Cyrus Mehri
(Mr. Mehri served as Class Counsel in the two largest race discrimination class actions in history. Roberts v. Texaco Inc. settled in 1997 for $176 million. Ingram v. The Coca-Cola Company, settled in 2001 for $192.5 million.")
N. Jeremi Duru
("N. Jeremi Duru, a Professor of Law at American Universitys Washington College of Law, serves as of counsel to Mehri & Skalet. Before entering academia, Professor Duru was an associate at Mehri & Skalet, where he represented plaintiffs interests in employment discrimination and other civil rights matters.")
In Emeritus Johnnie L. Cochran, Jr. (THAT Johnnie Chochran)
I think the name should be changed to something more appropriate.
Washington Tyrants
Washington Communists
Washington Fascists
But, in doing so - PLEASE, PLEASE we must change the name Washington itself to something more appropriate - like Marxx. And that includes the city not just some stupid gladiator outfit.
It is a major insult to continue calling that swamp near Maryland and Virginia, Washington, who was such a great man.
(no "finders fee" for any "advocate" organizations!)
Tell that to the "prominent civil rights organization" that ought to "put their knickers in a twist"!
What’s a ‘civil rights’ group?
Well, I’d say they would be pretty far down the list. But then we’ve already come a great way down the list, so it is possible; even probable if there is no pushback.
