Admirals, generals, intel: Benghazi inquest compromised (Gowdy threatened?)
http://www.wnd.com/2015/01/military-veterans-benghazi-inquest-compromised/ ^ | Jerome R. Corsi

Gen. Vallely told WND that he believes Gowdy “has received much pressure not to get to the truth, and we are now coming to the conclusion that there is no longer any intention in Washington, by the leadership of both the Democratic and Republican Parties, to get to the truth.”

“An honest investigation into Benghazi would prove treasonous acts at the very top of the White House and the State Department, and a continuing cover-up in Congress that now involves the Republican leadership and especially House Speaker John Boehner,” Vallely said.

Among the CCB’s most significant findings, released last April in an Interim Report, was that “the U.S. facilitated the delivery of weapons and military support to Al Qaeda-linked rebels in Libya,” and that “on the day of the attacks in Benghazi, whether or not there was an official order to stand down, the result was the same. There were military assets, for example, at the U.S. base in Sigonella, in Sicily, Italy, that could have been brought to bear, and perhaps could have saved the lives of the two men killed at the CIA Annex, the scene of the second attack that night. The failure to attempt to rescue these Americans amounts to a dereliction of duty.”

Did anyone think that there would be a complete and thorough airing of the Benghazi scandal? Yes, Gowdy was getting too close to the truth and told to back off by the rinos in his own party. We really have a truly transparent administration.......NOT!!!!!!

“An honest investigation into Benghazi would prove treasonous acts...”

And that is exactly why the investigation needs to continue. Not a single person in government is too big or important that treason should be overlooked.

“I believe if you got the rock bottom...”

Someone posited a theory on FR last year that the Admin plan was to allow the ambassador to be kidnapped, and then have a reason to exchange him for the blind sheik. That move would have boosted Morsi in Egypt by allowing him to claim he freed the Muslim Brotherhood’s spiritual leader, and at the same time he becomes a “good guy” in America by “brokering” the return of our ambassador. It went south when either (1) unexpected resistance at the consulate enraged the kidnappers, or (2) an Iran-backed militia got wind of the op and decided to pre-empt. When I first read this theory it reminded me of a news report a few days before the Benghazi attack in which some Admin flack broached the idea of just releasing the sheik free and clear - kind of a trial balloon-by-media.

And, the absolute and total corruption in Washington continues unabated. It is becoming so overt that it is embarrassing.

Right before Christmas when Obama had his little talk with the MSM about the Sony hack he made a threat to the MSM, the democrat party, and some repubs about releasing the content of a doc and exposing Hillary, if they did the same thing that happened to Sony would happen to them.

This is a “fight to the death” issue for the Democrat Party. They are using every resource and trick in the book to stop any investigation into Libya.
Why should it be that important to the Democrats? Have you seen any riots over the Democrat gun-running? No. They know that’s not going to kill the Democrat Party. What they are absolutely terrified of is the American people finding out the real reason Hillary and Obama had Qadaffi killed (to get his fortune) and the extent of the coverup by the American Press ( they are being paid to cover up).
Unfortunately, there were loads of stupid decisions made by ranking Republicans, the State Department, the CIA and the Department of Defense in this matter. Those poor decisions make them subject to blackmail.
“Take us down, and we’ll take you down with us.”
The Democrats also use fear to their advantage in this.
“What would Democrats do if Hillary and Obama were arrested? I don’t think you want to even contemplate that firestorm.”
So, cowardice and thievery reign supreme. Just take another toke and chill out while the cowards and thieves have a good laugh.

I don’t think for one moment Trey Gowdy has been bought off. He works for Boehner who is Speaker of the House. So he can only go as far as Boehner will let him. Same goes for Issa.

I also think the whole Benghazi thing was that Hillary had a gun running operation out of that CIA annex behind the US mission in Libya and when the SHTF they didn’t want it discovered so they just stood back and hoped it would all get covered up in the destruction. Ambassador Stephens and all the rest were expendable. Likely nobody will ever really get punished for it.

The GOP does not have the stomach for witch hunts like the Dems do. Its just not in them or they would already be either impeaching Obama or making Herculean efforts to stop his amnesty and many other overreaches.

US Representatives do not “work for” the Speaker of the House.

Sure they do. These committee assignments come from The Speaker and the Committees go as far as the Speaker lets them.

Oh well, we are now ruled by the dukes and princes, who's allegiance is to the Crown.

Didn't I read about this in the history books...

He was one bright light, let’s hope he comes out fighting.

Not gonna hold my breath with this guy. Gowdy is window dressing IMO.

“... literally do battle ...”

Well .. hold on to your hat because I don’t believe that is the only battle we will be doing.

I’ve been researching the drowning’s in the Northeast; and if my suspicious are correct, we may have stumbled onto an activated terror cell.

Now, the same type of drowning has occurred in Palm Desert, CA; and it has me wondering if another cell has been activated.

If any of my suspicions turn out to be correct, I believe Americans will go ballistic over this act of terror (the drowning of all those young men in the Northeast) .. and I’m concerned what the citizens of this country will do when confronted with these facts. I’m praying it does not create the “civil war” Obama is so hoping for.

Any questions, use private mail.

Obola is very spiritual. He was elected twice to the presidency by all those dead people who voted absentee. His main source of support came from the cemeteries.

Do I need a /s tag?
