Government Tells Mosques: Force Out The Preachers of Hate [Preachers of Islam?]

Government Tells Mosques: Force Out The Preachers of Hate Eric Pickles writes to 1,100 imams and community leaders, urging them to tackle radicals and make young Muslims proud of Britain

Channel 4 has defended plans to broadcast the Islamic call to prayer every morning during Ramadan by suggesting there are more Muslims in Britain than people who tuned in to watch the Queen's coronation anniversary service. Channel 4 will broadcast the call to prayer at sunrise on television and over the internet as part of plans to appeal to young Muslims Photo:

By Matthew Holehouse, 18 Jan 2015 The Government has taken the unprecedented step of writing to every mosque in the country to tell Muslim leaders that they must do more to root out the “men of hate” who are preaching extremism.

Eric Pickles, the Communities Secretary, has written to 1,100 imams and Islamic leaders urging them to publicly condemn the Al Qaeda terrorists behind the Paris massacres, the Daily Telegraph has learned.

Whitehall is unable to defeat jihadist ideology alone and Muslim leaders have “a responsibility” to prevent young men and women from becoming radicalised, Mr Pickles said in a letter sent last Friday.

The letter says that Imams must explain to young people what it means to be British. And it says that mosques who identify hate preachers within their midst can receive free legal advice to force them out. Mr Pickles’ letter comes at a time when tension between communities in Britain is running high.

Mr. Pickles seems to be an idiot. You can’t take the green out of grass.

What percentage of Mosques in America also serve as armories?

For whatever it may be worth (given that the Church of England has gone so far off the Christian rails in recent years),
the Queen is officially “Defender of the Faith.” This meaens that there is a link betweeen the government and the maintenance of Christian faith in the UK (Wouldn’t Obama just love having THAT portfolio! HA HA! No wonder he immigrated to USA instead of UK!)

Anyway, the following exerpt is from the British royal website, for your info and/or amusement:

The Sovereign holds the title ‘Defender of the Faith and Supreme Governor of the Church of England’.

There are many examples of the relationship between the established Church and the State.

Archbishops and bishops are appointed by The Queen on the advice of the Prime Minister, who considers the names selected by a Church Commission. They take an oath of allegiance to The Queen on appointment and may not resign without Royal authority.

The connection between Church and State is also symbolised by the fact that the ‘Lords Spiritual’ (consisting of the Archbishops of Canterbury and York and 24 diocesan bishops) sit in the House of Lords. Parish priests also take an oath of allegiance to The Queen.

The General Synod (including the bishops, elected representatives from the clergy and the laity) is the supreme authority of the Church of England. The Queen opens the Synod after the elections in the dioceses every five years.

Since 1919, the Synod (formerly called the Church Assembly) has had the power to pass Measures on any matter concerning the Church of England.

Following acceptance of the Measures by both Houses of Parliament (which cannot amend them), they are submitted for Royal Assent and become law.

In addition to legislating for the Church by Measure, the General Synod has the power to legislate by Canon in its own domestic affairs such as worship and doctrine, but The Queen’s assent is required for the promulgation of such Canons. Such assent is given on the Home Secretary’s advice.

In his or her coronation oath, the Sovereign promises to maintain the Church.

The Sovereign must be in communion with the Church of England, that is, a full, confirmed member.

The Preface to the 39 Articles of the Church of England describes the monarch as ‘being by God’s Ordinance, according to Our just Title, Defender of the Faith and ... Supreme Governor of the Church of England’.

I wonder how much the lefties love the Muzzies after seeing video footage of them shoving the gays off the sides of buildings to their own death?
I bet the Muzzies would have lots of fun with the Hollyweird celebrities who hate other people owning guns and have sold all of theirs because of bleeding heart kiberals. They’re helpless to protect themselves now unless thir bodyguards are nearby. They’re also rich and can be robbed or exploited, also usually sexual deviants, and don’t believe in Allah. I bet bodies could hit the ‘flo for months all over the state of California. Maybe we could “allow” ISIS to invade California then stop them. I bet they would change their thoughts about wanting to wear hajibs and burqahs and taking selfies to look “cool” online.

Yeah, a letter will do it.

This is the new British for “getting tough”. Meanwhile, they move closer to surrender by broadcasting the Call To Prayer on TV.

If I didn’t know better, I’d think the Government was try to encourage more British to become Muslim.

Actually, I don’t know any better.

He wouldn’t stand a chance against La Cosa Nostra. Society has fallen a long way since the war on the mob. I mention this because dealing with the militants is like dealing with the mob.

Thanks.
I do not keep up with Prince Charles.
I do recall reading he’s an Islamo-lover?
If so, the Brits should find someone else for his job ASAP! This is the very, very, VERY LAST thing the UK needs if it is to survive at all.

(I believe he may still be in official good standing, nonetheless, with the CofE? Regular weekly attendance, like that of his Mama the Queen, is not enforced ... is it? )
Forgive my ignorance about the fellow, I am just too far away to follow him is all. Thanks!

Charles loves the muslims and most everything lefty. He probably is technically in official good standing with the official CofE, as that isn’t, de facto, very Christian these days. I write that as a Christian Episcopalian whose official church also left the flock and thus me. The Queen is likely better, but is at a loss what to do about Charles, or for that matter, her official Church. William is likely better, hopefully much better. I hope the Queen can hang on long enough to, at worst, hold Charles to a short reign. England survived the short reign of her pro-Nazi uncle and probably could survive a short reign of Charles, but a long reign would be problematic. In the short term pull for Nigel Farage and his UKIP to play Churchill.

How long a nation can hold on when it’s monarch is subversive to islamoNazi twkeover — hard to say. One great country is entering year seven of this — and it’s had tremendous damage inflicted on it and it’s people.
