John Kerry Declares ‘Profound Emotion’ For France In Paris Address Visit by US secretary of state was organised after White House admitted mistake in not already dispatching a senior figure

Kim Willsher 16 January 2015 The US secretary of state, John Kerry, declared the “profound emotion” of his country for France on Friday, as French police arrested a dozen people suspected of helping the gunmen who carried out last week’s terror attacks in Paris.

Kerry described the attacks as a “living nightmare” and said he wanted to “share a hug with the whole of Paris and the whole of France”.

His hastily arranged visit came after the White House admitted it made a mistake in not dispatching a senior figure to Paris for the mass rally in the French capital on Sunday.

The “republican march”, organised in defiance of the terrorist attacks and as a show of national and international solidarity, was attended by 40 other world leaders and was the biggest public demonstration in Paris since the city’s liberation in 1944. Kerry told his French counterpart Laurent Fabius that he was unable to attend because of a trip to India.

He told the French president, François Hollande, at the Elysée: “We share the pain of the French people”.

Kerry is a national embarrassment. That display with the ancient folk singer yesterday was a disgrace. He and Obama are so devoid of humanity that robots could take their places and show more warmth.

Like all of the things that Obama is NOT good at, picking Secretaries of State is right up there...Hillary with her “Reset” button, and now Kerry with his hippie-era folk singer and group hugs.

If you ever wondered what happened to the 60’s hippies, well they got haircuts, bought suits, and joined the current administration.

Bringing James Taylor to France was the most disgustingly pathetic thing I have ever seen done by the State Dept.

Kerry should be shunned and removed from office.

It is going to be a long two years.

“For the First Time in My Adult Lifetime, I’m Really Proud of My Country.” Michelle Obama, Feb. 18, 2008

I wonder what ^^that^^ feels like. I don't remember.

Once again in my adult lifetime, this time thanks to Kerry in Paris, I know what really ashamed of my country feels like.

That song fits 99% of DC and Congress, ya think? Even the new crop are gutless. Add the RNC to that list as well.

Kerry... said he wanted to "share a hug with the whole of Paris and the whole of France".

Somehow, I can't imagine John Foster Dulles or Henry Kissinger saying such a thing.

Madeline Albright or Hillary Clinton? Yup.
