America Will Miss Obama When He's Gone (LOL alert)
The Atlantic ^ | January 15, 2015 | Dominic Tierney

It’s 2018, and Barack Obama leans toward the computer in his Chicago townhouse and punches in the title of his memoir. He enjoys the silence and the solitude. It’s been over a decade since he had time to write. This is Obama’s third memoir and probably not the last. Aged only 57, his story is still in mid-stream. What next? Go back to teaching law? Charitable work? Whichever avenue he pursues, Obama can take encouragement from sky-high approval ratings. As soon as he departed the White House, Obama’s polling numbers started to pick up. Now, he’s one of the most admired men in America. People even see a touch of King or Mandela.

This optimistic vision may seem outlandish today, as Obama’s approval rating is stuck in the mid-40s, the Tea Party depicts him as an un-American socialist, and progressives tire of endless fighting in the Middle East. Many people have mentally checked out from his presidency. But the way that Americans think about Obama today is not the way they will see him in three or five years’ time.

It’s my understanding that one Penny Pritzker kicked in on building his mansion in Hawaii. I would assume that he plans to live in it.

How many autobiographies can one man write, who has never accomplished anything under his own power in his entire life? What does he write about, the joys of aragula and golf? Oh, and the dreams of his father, whoever that may be?

"It’s 2018, and Barack Obama leans toward the computer in his Chicago townhouse"

Chicago? LOL! It's cold and dangerous. Try Hawaii. He's going to spend less time in Chicago than the average airline traveler.

(Also, the odds are fairly good that his prior "lifestyle choices" will begin to catch up with him in his golden years, taxpayer funded "Cadillac" health plan or not.)

I do not think so.

In my dream, he was taken care of by our laws. The usurper and traitor was finally arrested, tried and convicted along with his administration.

Justice was swift and final.

Yes, there are a lot of similarities.

It’s 2018, and Barack Obama leans toward the legal pad in his Fort Leavenworth jail cell and scribbles in the title of his memoir. He enjoys the silence and the solitude — for the first time in his life he truly is the smartest man in the room. It’s been over a decade since he had time to write. This is Obama’s first memoir not ghost written by somebody else, and surely his last. Aged only 57, his story will soon end as he dangles from the end of a rope, the penalty for treason. What next? Eternity in hell? Allah rewarding him with 72 virgin goats? His name stricken from American history books? What ever post-mortal fate awaits him, he will go to the grave knowing that his approval ratings are akin to those of Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, and Mao Sedong. Only the late Jimmy Carter would view Obama’s polling numbers in a favorable light as they reflect his elevated status to SECOND worse president in history. Simply said, Obama is the most reviled man in American history. Some people even swear that when they look at him they see the Prince of Darkness or a modern day Muslim Judas.

Hadn't heard that....thanks for the info! With his presidential library right next door, no doubt.

What's next? Well, he had been through a lot already. Getting divorced from Michelle, coming out as gay, getting married to a man, finally admitting that he was a Muslim . . . .

I doubt he will do much after he leaves the White House. He is basically a lazy slouch who was propelled by forces beyond himself. I would expect the usual speech circuit and occasional interview by fawning presstitutes. That will be about it. Obama is a pothead. He has little motivation on his own.

——There better be a push to criminally convict him after he’s out of office.-——

Convict him of what crime...?

Unfortunately, it’s not a crime to be Muslim, Marxist, incompetent or gay...
