I received a degree in history in 1980. The cost of my education was $3,500 per year (because I was from out of state). Today, that same education costs about $30,000 per year.

What advances in "History" have occurred over the past 35 years to justify the increase? I don't think that students have to use supercomputers or advanced technology as part of the curriculum.

Obviously, it's the cost of constantly rewriting it to fit the current narrative.
