The Keystone catechism
Washington Post ^ | January 14, 2015 | By George Will

Not since the multiplication of the loaves and fishes near the Sea of Galilee has there been creativity as miraculous as that of the Keystone XL pipeline. It has not yet been built but already is perhaps the most constructive infrastructure project since the Interstate Highway System. It has accomplished an astonishing trifecta:

It has made mincemeat of Barack Obama’s pose of thoughtfulness. It has demonstrated that he lacks even a rudimentary understanding of the most basic economic realities. It has dramatized environmentalism’s descent into infantilism.

Obama entered the presidency trailing clouds of intellectual self-regard. His carefully cultivated persona was of a uniquely thoughtful, judicious, deliberative, evidence-driven man comfortable with complexity. The protracted consideration of Keystone supposedly displayed these virtues. Now, however, it is clear that his mind has always been as closed as an unshucked oyster.

America built the Empire State Building, then the world’s tallest office building, in 410 days during the Depression. We built the Pentagon, still the world’s largest low-rise office building, in 16 months while waging a war across two oceans. Keystone has been studied for more than six years. And Obama considers this insufficient?

To oppose the pipeline is to favor more oil being transported by trains

It is to favor more oil transported by ocean tanker ships. Oil brought down from Canada and not coincidentally North Dakota will displace oil brought in from overseas.

To oppose the pipeline is to prefer oil tankers. And it is again not coincidentally to prefer oil brought from overseas.

Keystone has been studied for more than six years.

Enough time to fight WW II from the attack on Pearl Harbor to the surrender of Japan and then start again at the attack on Pearl Harbor up to four months before the D-Day invasion... and there's still more study needed.

yup.
lets study sending that cash to the muslims.
lets compare it to leaving it here in north America
lets talk about developing our economies and creating jobs here in north America
lets talk about all the down stream development here in America...the plastics industry?

lets look at the idea of North American energy stability and security
Lets talk about a cheaper energy policy here for industry instead of running the prices up.... which he wants to do.

Then lets talk about cleaning up one of the greatest ecological disasters....
lets talk about how America likes new roads... and that same asphalt is liberally spread all over the US... and all drivers prefer it over mud and potholes.

lets talk about what an idiot that cocksucker is! and how detrimental he is to modern man!

Bought from companies owned and controlled by muslims that donate heavily to our progressive politicians.

“To oppose the pipeline is to favor more oil being transported by trains”

I wonder how many get run over by a pipeline every year? We just had 10 get killed here in West Texas yesterday when the bus hit a train, lost a friend at an intersection and another friend lost his daughter a few years ago. A truck pulling a trailer with Wounded Warriors in a parade was hit a few years ago in Midland Texas, several lost their lives.
