My brother and I had to open and dump out an entire case of beer. We were not cited though. Don’t they know how hard it was to come up with a case of beer at that ripe young age? It was police brutality, I’m tellin ya.
Argh, that’s awful! Was it cheap beer, at least? Because I’d hate to think you had to dump some of the good stuff.
Though if it had been the good stuff, the officer probably would have confiscated it for the “evidence room.”

I was 17 years old and working in a supermarket. After work, one of my co-workers scored some beer and four of us sat in my father's car after work in the parking lot, listening to some Zeppelin and knocking back some suds.
Suddenly we see high beam flashlights shining through the window and a cop tells us to get out of the car. We sheepishly exited the car and the officer checked our IDs and looked us over. He took note of my address. He then had us dump the rest of our beer out into the street and told me that the party was over and to take my friends home and that he'd better not see us for the rest of the night. He even said he was going to drive by my house later to make sure my car was parked outside.
It's probably incredible for anybody under 40 to believe this, but there was actually a time in America when cops did not automatically haul you into jail for every little thing. Especially if you were a clean cut kid who was just out for a little fun. If you were polite to the police officers and showed some respect, they would usually cut you a break and send you on your way
Not to mention alcohol abuse.
