And to those who were not routing for the Patriots?

I think an albatross is not unlike a sea hawk. But a lot scarier. It I had a team they would be called Albatrosses. We could make the other team freak out and hallucinate. Hallucinate that they were being chased by mannequins. For football it might be those thingies that they have those pads on and push around the field while practicing. After being pushed around all the time they might just start to fight back. It would most likely just a hallucination but that will work for this thread,

I’m telling myself next year my team will do better.

So I guess that goes for every other team besides the Patriots.

I made it back, the angry yeti mugging my area failed in their attempts to stop me.
For now.

They didn’t plow out front, so I dug a furrow with the car.

I wish I was the star that shines on the kitty planet.

Sirius-Ly. If there is a doggy star, why can’t there be a kitty star?

Maybe there is. I’ll have to ask someone with the Astronomy Merit Badge.

"I wish I was the star that shines on the kitty planet."

Since you are made of star-stuff, your wish has been granted even before you made it.

Now there’s a good question...

Back home. NO traffic on the way, as it was all going north to work and I was going south.

In a way, I was hoping the Hawks won, but just as much hoping the Pats would win. I was a little disconcerted about the overall game. It seemed once the Pats got the first touchdown, they sorta let the Hawks do what they wanted. I also felt the last touchdown was a fluke. But that’s just my opinion.

I have to give up the water, pills and food until after the epidural at 1330, so after I’ve caught up on computer stuff, I will lie down on the sofa until the sun comes up and shines in my eyes.

I’m sure Sparkle missed me, but I will go in in about 30 minutes, as the drapes are open but it’s still dark outside. I like my privacy.

We have a street in Las Vegas named “Sirius” but the local yokels pronounce it Cyrus. A news anchor tried to justify his usage of the latter by comparing Lima (Leema) Peru and Lima (Lime-a) OH, which was really stupid, since Sirius and Cyrus aren’t spelled the same.

*sheesh*

There’s a Houston St. in NYC but they pronounce it how’s-ton instead of hyous-ton.

I don’t know why.

There is also a Madras in India (Mah-dras) but Maa-dras MO. I don’t mind that, but the Sirius and Cyrus really galls me.

That is how you can tell if someone isn’t local.

It’s HOWston street.

Even better. I still meet people who say Brooklyn Dodgers. It’s like if they keep saying it, they will have never moved.
