An accountant at a New York ad firm leaped to his death because he was hallucinating that the mannequins at his Manhattan office were chasing him, it was claimed today. David Caquais, 43, opened at window at Catch NY on the fourth floor of a building in Manhattan's Garment District and jumped out about 9pm on January 2. The New York Post reports that Mr Caquais screamed 'They're after me! They're after me!' as he ran around his office and attempted to kick out windows.

The only thing I got on my 50th was a good night’s sleep after an immoderate piece of birthday cake, cut from a cake I bought for myself.

I rented a restaurant, hired a DJ and made it a truly memorable event...The invitations were on gray card stock with black borders, and I had a cake made with a tombstone on it, celebrating the demise of my 49th year. It was by Invitation Only, so party crashers were not allowed.
I figured, “What the heck? I’m only 50 once!” So I spent $700 on it and have never regretted it. (That was 20 years ago!)

No temptation...man...that’s tough.
I watched three more episodes of Downton Abby today...SUCH a good soap! The British passion for period accuracy is very evident in this series, and of course, Dame Maggie Smith steals every scene she is in. She is SUCH a good Dowager Countess! Very snobbish and down to earth in a lady-like way.
She has always been one of my favorite actresses.

Maggie Smith was wonderful in “The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel,” with Judi Dench, my absolute favorite British actress.

What are those orange ice cream bars? Dreamsicles? Creamcicles?
They have a vanilla ice cream middle. That’s what kitty might be made of, with rainbows, and his daddy was a unicorn.
