ANGRY BOEHNER LOOKS TO ‘DEAL’ WITH DETRACTORS
Breitbart ^ | January 9, 2015 | By JAVIER MANJARRES

Posted on 01/09/2015 11:13:50 AM PST by Jim Robinson

After 25 Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives embarrassed Speaker John Boehner by voting against his re-election bid, the newly re-elected Boehner has begun to exact his revenge on those that opposed him.

According to a Politico source, conservative House members Daniel Webster and Rich Nugent, both from Florida, will lose their spots on the highly coveted House Rules Committee.

A few British MPs have written tell-alls, or usually more “reference all behind fictional characters” like the House of Cards novels, that can be very instructive. Things there are even more brutal because there’s so many parties forming and breaking allegiances with each other.

The anti-boner caucus needs to form its own party. If boner is intent on retribution by primarying them/withdrawing funds, why not? They would have a lot more power if they split.

Until America changes, DC stays as it is. And DC is nothing but a reflection of America. We need to ‘fix’ America. Not DC. We ‘cant’ fix DC any other way. Fix what ails us and DC fixes itself.

I’ve been saying this for a very long time. It’s all about the culture. Something I have noticed is that very few people will stand up to someone they disagree with, while the country goes down the toilet. I have been in numerous situations where some leftist will say some rude thing, I don’t just ignore it, but take them on. If others are sitting there, even though they agree with me, they will stay silent. I never start the discussion about politics in groups, but I don’t back down.

I see this all the time. People will not stand up and be counted. Recently I had some guest over to our home that I did not know very well. He made some snarky comment about corrupt R’s. and I agreed with him, then commented that most federal govt. was corrupt, that is why me and my DH were tea party supporters. You would have thought I told him we ate puppies. So many are too afraid of being not cool enough to say who they really are. It is killing our country. Oh, I also told the guest that we were calling it a night and he should go home. Haven’t seen him since.

Doesn’t matter how many times you call him names. He won, and he now runs the largest block congress has seen in a while, and they will do what they’re told for at least the next year. That is the reality of the situation.

At this point, we should do everything we can to just keep him drunk. He’ll do far less damage that way.

This has happened to me soooooo many times. I honestly think most of these people think they don’t know any “extreme right wingers” I think because I am normal, they think I am going to agree with them. I recently had a neighbor tell me they were so surprised that I would like the documentary about the band Rush since I was a tea partier. He should be more surprised because I am a woman who likes the documentary about the band Rush. Which is very good by the way.

This kind of stereotyping could really work to our advantage, we just need to use it.

I emailed my congressman (who voted for Boehner) and told him to remove us from his email and mailing lists. I also told him I will never again vote for him because he voted for Boehner. I also downloaded forms to change from republican to independent. If enough of us do this, they will get a message. It doesn't guarantee they won't continue to ignore us, but we are putting them on notice. Noted also Romney is reconsidering running again. The GOP and RNC are clearly suicidal.

I’ve sent a couple of emails to Boehner telling him we need a Man representing us not someone without a spine.

I called my representative yesterday and told him not to call me again about financial support and I would not be letting them put another sign in my yard.

I think I will be on their watch list.

I would say this much to those that voted against Obama's blood brother: Hang in there. you still have two things that the sob cannot take from you. Two things that the others do not have. Your honor and your dignity.

Once again we were stabbed in the back. And when the next election rolls around , this forum will be once again filled with vicious and hateful posts attacking Sarah Palin and the cadre of the Elite Republicans will be chanting ," Obama thanks you". "Hillary thinks you", Not voting for ____[insert Liberal's name] is a vote for the Democrat" And while they are resting and catching their breath from doing that, they are wearing their fingers down to the nub attacking Sarah Palin.

If I am still living when the next election rolls around, unless the Republicans run a Conservative, which I seriously doubt they will, I know one vote they will not get.

I agree that calling boehners office is a waste of time. But please, do something useful like brewing some beer or planting a garden or cleaning your sock drawer.

Putting more good people in politics is like sending your daughter off to work in a whorehouse. Don’t do it unless you want to be responsible for there being one more whore in the world.

If it was new, either those of us that have been discussing it here for half a decade are literal prophets, or have incredible foresight and luck.

Or it isn’t new at all.

Yes, they are more bold about it. But i maintain the reason people didn’t see it was that they didn’t want to. It has been there, openly, for years.

When every major vote results in crashed switchbords and voicemail, then they vote against conservatism and constitutionality, that in and of itself tells you one of two things. They turned the phones off in the first place or flatly ignored the will of the people.

Thats one example they repeated over and over. There were dozens. People always had a reason. An excuse. Something to deny wht happened was something OTHER than what happened.

It got so bad that to this day there are people right here on this thread they will argue to the death that their losing vote for Mitt Romney did not help lead the party further left. That is denial on a mental illness scale. When your party runs a candidate for the highest office on the planet that is openly opposed to everything Reagan ever stood for, how can ANYONE think they were not WIDE OPEN as to where their loyalties were?

How?
