Explosions and gunshots rang out and smoke rose outside a building where two brothers suspected in a newspaper massacre are holed up with a hostage.
Security forces had surrounded the building for most of the day Friday, cornering the suspects in the killings at the Charlie Hebdo newspaper in Paris this week.
Police SWAT forces could be seen on the roof of the building

As in Vermont? Shot in the dark here, but I’m figuring that a hostage situation in a jewelry store is more likely a robbery gone bad than an act of terrorism.

At the 54 second mark of video (top middle) a little to right of CNN reporter, there is a motorcycle and two people sitting at curb to the right of the motorcycle. The two (one is certainly a female, other person possible female also) get up start to walk away then run away. Unknown if was/is female fugitive (imho) but the two certainly ran away. Video was up a few minutes before I posted to you. Unknown if video is still there. Video took about three minutes to load for me when verified video was still at link. Like you believe I too believe the people held (hostages inside market) hold the key as to whether or not female fugitive was inside the store.
