Armed police have surrounded the Charlie Hebdo killers after they seized a hostage and are now holed up in a business premises near a Paris airport. Al Qaeda gunmen Said Kouachi, 34, and his brother, Cherif, 33, have reportedly told police negotiators: 'We are ready to die as martyrs'. MailOnline understands police scrambled phone signals in the area after the gunmen made contact with a fellow jihadist while inside the building. Officers are hunting the associate who is feared to be behind the murder of a police officer yesterday and a new hostage crisis ongoing in Paris today. The third hostage-taker, named as Amedy Coulibay, 32, this afternoon took at least six captives at a kosher grocery, leaving two people dead. Coulibay is thought to be demanding that the Kouachi brothers be allowed to go free, according to reports. Revelations that a call was made by the Kouachis suggests they may have instructed Coulibay to carry out today's atrocity to leverage their escape. There were reports of another alert near the Eiffel Tower, with police seen training their guns down the stairs of a Metro station, but it was a false alarm. Local media reports that the brothers met Coulibay while in prison. He is believed to be a fellow member of the Buttes Chaumont a gang from the 19th arrondissement of Paris that sent jihadists to fight in Iraq. The Kouachis were cornered in Dammartin-en-Goele, around 25 miles from the capital, this morning after leading police on a dramatic car chase. After exchanging gunfire with officers, they fled on foot into printing works where they are holding a hostage, believed to be a 26-year-old male.

They want to die, I want to kill them.
Can’t we work out a deal?
Official governments won’t. Private guards might.
No, no traction YET.
Shoot their knees out and make them undergo a humiliating trial.
You know the French knew about these jihadists long before the attack on Charlie.
I am reminded of the final scene from Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.
That is a somewhat ironic statement to make on a conservative website. Threats are mostly taken seriously when directed against an individual or specific company or entity, as it should be. Otherwise you criminalize "watering the tree of liberty" statements.
If they specifically threatened Charlie Hedbo, especially after the firebomb incident, I would not be against someone in an official capacity having a talk with them to ascertain the threat level. General anti-western talk, while despicable, has to be tolerated in a free society.
Remember Major Hasan the bloody freaking Islamic Terrorist who attacked his peers at Ft.Hood? Where is that scumbag now? Oh yes it is being coddled by our Government. And those it killed and wounded have NOT received the ORder of the purple heart—nor any help from our govt. No nation should allow Muslims enter or have benefit of citizenship when Islam is NOT a religion of Peace—but a Region enslaved by their Satanic Verses.
