France unites in tribute to Muslim officer slain by fanatics

'Thousands were today paying tribute to dead Muslim police officer Ahmed Merabet using the rallying cry 'JeSuisAhmed' after the heroic officer was gunned down in Paris.

The celebration of Mr Merabet, who was killed as he begged for his life by suspected Islamic fanatics, echoes the 'JeSuisCharlie' (I am Charlie) demonstrations that have swept the world in the wake of yesterday's shocking massacre.

His colleagues today said they were in extreme shock after a video of the Charlie Hebdo office attack emerged - showing Mr Merabet on the ground and begging for mercy as he is killed casually executed by a gunshot to the head.

Today, #JeSuisAhmed began trending on Twitter as thousands expressed their admiration for his sacrifice while defending the right to freedom of speech.

The rallying cry is a play on words of 'Je Suis Charlie', the catchphrase spawned in the wake of the deadly massacre to show solidarity with those killed.

Mr Merabet, originally from Livry-Gargan in north eastern Paris, had been a fully-trained police officer for eight years.'

Somehow, someway this incident had to turned into a way to praise a Muslim.

That’s well and good but when will France start sending muslims back to the caves?

Two non-Muslim police officers also killed.

Now maybe Mr. Merabat died as a loyal Frenchman and police officer performing his duty.

And maybe at the end he begged, “Don’t kill me, I’m a Muslim also.” Which is the what most of us would do, if we thought a co-religionist would spare us.

But two other officers died too. Don’t elevate Merabat over them.

Its a shame he didn’t have a gun and its a shame that the news out of this story is that a police officer was killed by some Islamist savage while begging for his life. The fact that the officer was a Muslim is not relevant, unless, of course, you live in a world of PC bean counting.

I guess the other officer, presumably non-Muslim, doesn’t count.

As for the Muslim officer, he shouted something before the terrorist shot him, but I couldn’t understand it. Was it “don’t shoot,” or was he saying that he was Muslim too?

In any case, even being Muslim is not enough to divert this group. Islam is violent at its core, and they are simply carrying out the commands of their founder (who was NOT a “prophet”), and therefore they regard any Muslim who is not doing likewise as a bad Muslim and somebody working for the enemy.

Praising a dead Muslim French cop, however sad or pitiful his demise was, will not prevent the Muslims from subjugating France.

Only booting the Muslim population out will achieve that. Not being willing to do that is equivalent surrendering.

The real French might as well save some trouble and castrate themselves, and then give over their wives and daughters to the Muslims.

showing Mr Merabet on the ground and begging for mercy

He was really saying, "I'm a Moslem, don't shoot".

I think he was just begging for mercy as any human being would.

I think the story is more about the tragic irony of his murder.

And that these animals, who proclaim their acts in praise of Islam, will, like any fanatical psychopaths, murder anyone in their way, including their own people. As terrorists and fanatics have always done.

Most people in the west aren’t ready to face the truth about Islam and so they grab on to a story like this to make themselves feel better about their own denial.
