On Tuesday night, PBS aired its latest Frontline documentary aimed at attacking the NRA entitled "Gunned Down: The Power of the NRA." On multiple occasions, the program did its best to promote the activities of anti-gun activists while discrediting the efforts of the NRA to protect the Second Amendment.

Ramping up the demonetization of the NRA I see.
what I find so ironic is that these gun-grabbing bastards are always calling 2A supporters extreme conservatives. Where I came from originally, the people and family members are pretty solid democrats and vote that way (in between hunting and reloading). Dang near all of them are NRA members who donate religiously. The right to bear arms is FAR from a left/right argument. When they say this sort of crap, they are insulting a large portion of their own base... and they are too damned stupid to figure it out.
I expect this drivel from PBS....nothing new.
I agree. I grew up in Pennsylvania gun country near Pittsburgh. Everyone had a gun, everyone hunted, and most of them voted Democrat. I had an uncle who owned a number of guns and hunted pretty much every day he could but who until his dying day thought that Republicans are “for the rich” and continues to vote Democrat.
I was probably more in the gray. I was offered a job by a good guy there when no one wanted me at all. It wasn’t that bad for the first few years but the last of the sensible ones retired and the vacuum was filled by fools.
Conservatives don’t control two branches of government now and unless there is a marked change will not control three branches if the republicans win the presidency.
They're scared SH***ess of being attacked by Big Bird Again.
I wonder if we might ever see a special about NARAL— “Torn from her Mother’s Womb: The story of the National Abortion Rights Action League”?
People’s Revolutionary Broadcasting Scam....
Brought to you by corporate shills, leftist hacks, and the vast sums of money stolen from the taxpayers.
PBS? I haven’t watched PBS in twenty years! Used to get both OETA and AETN for their movies. Since they no longer show movies I don’t watch.
The last series I watched was I CLAUDIUS.
We will see. But the vast majority of voting Americans are Constitutional, Christian and conservative in their hearts — and they are getting fed up with all the communism.
I expect 2016 to see a huge wave of Tea Party support and a real change. That will lead to control of the presidency and the Congress — followed by some VERY interesting appointments to the US Supreme Court. Some of the current justices will likely retire. And if they don’t, keep in mind that Congress has the right to alter the number of justices on the SCOTUS.
The only people who watch PBS are already in favor of gun control. PBS is just preaching to the choir.
“Public opinion has moved strongly in favor of gun rights over the past decade despite the Libs attempts to move it in the other direction.”
Actually that movement started in 2000, but close enough. PBS MISSED THE BOAT. The chances for gun control peaked just before 2000...and, had the Democrats been able to seize it, we might be as disarmed as those Paris cops were when they tried to take on the ROP.
Hubs fell asleep. My 18 y/o son is watching that wall to wall bullshit. In a nutshell, they are demonizing the NRA and something must be done-much hand wringing about the chiiiiiildren.
The real underlying theme is how the NRA has victimized the democrats.
Pure D B U double L bull!
We should assume that your 18 yr old son knows the truth. These asshats will stop at nothing to gain total control. Lies, and more lies.
Yes, he knows the truth. He loves guns too. Whenever we watch a movie he can instantly name the gun. Too bad he can’t get a job as armorer or technical advisor!
Any tech schools near you or gunsmithing classes? That sounds like it would be a good path for him. Good gun smiths are hard to find.
He wanted to be a gunsmith-his dream job for years. Be found out it doesn’t pay that well. He’s doing QC at a machine shop for now. He said he’ll hang in there as long as he can but a lot of his coworkers are kind of rough trade. I think he might be afraid of being lumped in with some of them in a guilt by association type deal.
Maybe they get govt subs for hiring excons or something, I don’t know.
According to him there are a lot of them
But he got the job through a school program
