New York Daily News pixelates Muhammad cartoon in story about Charlie Hebdo jihad massacre
Jihad Watch ^ | 1/7/15 | Robert Spencer

Posted on 01/07/2015 12:32:44 PM PST by BlatherNaut

Do these fools at the Daily News think that they will be spared? Do they think that if they adopt Sharia blasphemy laws forbidding mockery or criticism of Muhammad, that they will avoid the jihad onslaught? And if they adopt Sharia restrictions on freedom of expression of their own accord, does it even matter if they are spared?

The free press is dying of a self-inflicted wound. Now is the time for every newspaper in the world to republish Charlie Hebdo’s cartoons of Muhammad, in solidarity with the jihad murder victims and as a show of defiance — a signal that we will protect free speech and free societies.

But this will not happen. Instead, watch for more pusillanimity, more temporizing, more denial that this had anything to do with Islam, and more calls for “respect” for “religious sensibilities” — i.e., the placement of Islam in a protected category, above criticism.

NYC, where Fox is, has a police department that has quit policing except in rare cases...so if the threat is real on NYC< then there is real danger there....those protestors are Muslim and sympathizers.

But they were so proud of their “diversity” and open-mindedness when an alleged ‘artist’ put a crucifix in a jar of urine

Yes. New Yorkers, and tourists, should steer clear of all the news buildings for awhile.

Yeah, and remember how the Christians went after him with AK-47’s and beheaded him?

Yeah, me neither.

Well They are the people they were waiting for so let them handle it. Elections have consequences and People with a brain should have left by now to protect their families.

No job or material thing is worth ones family. Period.

‘They are the people they were waiting for’ lol

And I guess they can protect the ones they waited for, as they wait for the NYPD to get back to normal.

I think anyone remaining in NYC is responsible for what they get at this point, but anyone that assists the people that caused this situation are as guilty as the rest. Any cop lifting a finger to protect one of these people is not worth his badge after 9/11.

That’s a little excessive. Nobody knows where Robert Spencer lives. The Daily News, on the other hand, is a just Google search away. Given NYC’s gun laws, and the hoplophobia of the average scribbler, it’s a good idea to avoid becoming a target. I guarantee you - whatever cause sets up a pattern of killing scribblers who inveigh against it will get muted coverage in the press. It’s a simple matter of self-preservation.

The police in NYC should refuse to enforce gun control laws as a slap in the face to socialist statist moonbats like de Blasio.

This mess in France was homegrown, and those two brothers had been to Syria and trained and returned.

This is something America needs to realize with all the imported Muslims by Zero, it could happen here and where they least expect it. Yes, they threatened NYC, but I would expect them to hit elsewhere for that reason, the element of surprise.
