John Boehner’s allies have thirsted for the speaker to strike back at those who betray him. He’s been walked all over for too long, they say, and he’s too nice to people who are eager to stab him in the back.

He finally has learned the lesson.

After he secured his third term as speaker Tuesday afternoon, losing 25 votes on the House floor to some relative-unknown members of the House Republican Conference, Boehner moved swiftly to boot Florida Reps. Daniel Webster and Rich Nugent from the influential Rules Committee.

The reason was simple: Webster ran against Boehner for speaker, distributing fliers outlining his candidacy and talking about how he would better adhere to the House rules than the Ohio Republican. Nugent supported his fellow Floridian in the quixotic endeavor, which garnered the support of 12 lawmakers. Webster didn’t even give Boehner a heads-up that he was running, although leadership was aware early Tuesday morning that it could happen.

With friends like Boehner who needs any enemies. I try my best to not hate anyone but I come awful close to it with Boner. I put him in the same category as Obama and Pelosi and that is pretty bad.

I suppose they could take other measures, if all else fails.

I wouldn’t begin to elaborate on what that could entail.

This is the kind of retribution that we despise in our adversaries. It is treasonous when it come from someone that we considered an ally. We have met the enemy within and he will be dispatched with the same fury that we reserve for all who oppose us. Say goodbye John. You won't know what hit you.

What is left to us, is to refuse to comply with the federal Beast.

We have no obligation under Heaven to follow orders from an Oligarchy no matter the justification they contrive for them.

You obey the Natural Law and The Almighty and refuse to break the First Commandment by complying with the Beast from D.C.

Then when they come to force themselves upon you - resist by every and all means.

It has come to this.

If we would remain free, we must do this.

or be subjugated.

and/or exterminated.

Ultimately, we are all dead men, and this regime and their supporters have made it no secret of what they intend to do to us.

There isn’t a Republican (beside probably Mr. McCain) that I have loathed more..

I like and respect Pelosi more than Boner.

At least I know where she stands, and she backs it up with action. She’s an idiot liberal with conviction.

Boner is just a vindictive RINO power player. He’s a closet liberal that talks a conservative game when he feels like he has to, and works backroom deals for the big contributors for self preservation, and nothing more. He doesn’t give a DAMN about us or our country. He’s worse than McCain, IMO.

I heard this coming home today - and almost got sick. I was sure he’d be ousted - well, I was certainly hoping he was gone.

The thought of looking at his mascara for the next few years makes me ill.

Boehner has skeletons in his closet. Find out where he likes to unwind and drink and you’ll soon learn if it is hookers, little boys or bribes.

The best way to get back at him is to get a candidate now for 2016 to run against him. A great candidate who can speak publicly about Boehner’s retribution as it happens, who can bring attention to the concessions. And same goes for majority leader, find good candidates to challenge them and start the campaign right now.

Exactly 28 voted for someone other then Boehner, just one vote short of the magic number. So, where were the conservatives?

Conservatives? The whole Washington empire is corrupt and mostly communists.

“The best way to get back at him is to get a candidate now for 2016 to run against him.”

Agreed. We need to target him in his district.

Boehner is so dang stupid. His buddy Cantor is gone. Next election more of his buddies can suffer the same fate.

The problem is that this vote is public; I’d like to see this one vote be secret, we’d have had better numbers. Even if we got to 29, odds are that he’d pull off a win in the end; it’s too risky to vote against him publicly.

Boehner and his team are firmly convinced that, despite 25 defections, they have a firmer grip on power than ever before. They say their “working majority” – members whom Boehner can work with – is around 220 members.

“We don’t need these fringe guys as much as we did anymore,” said a GOP leadership aide, speaking on the condition of anonymity. “We can let them walk on certain bills, and it just won’t matter. That gives us breathing room.”

That statement ticks me off more than anything else in the article. What arrogance.

Boehner is an extremely evil human being -- his soul belongs to SATAN.

Boehner and McConnell along with the RATS are governing explicitly against the consent of the governed.

It is not wrong to state that our Republic as Founded has been overthrown by evil Statists in both parties.

Our Founding documents provide the solution.
