Precisely, in the end we are only responsible, and have control over what WE do and say.
It is beyond me why so many here continue to vote for a party that hates them, and their values.
Not only are we hated, we are consistently thwarted by our own party, they work with the media to defeat us.
The GOP leadership in both houses actively work to defeat Conservative legislation, they have admitted it, as in the case of Senator DeMint, he was told to sit down and shut up.
Why do any Freepers still support this party???????
Here's what I think:
It’s difficult to accept the finality of our situation as defenders of the constitution and traditional American culture. There are a great many who want those of us gone. The rest are incurious, and thus unaware of what is happening. Sometimes I envy them, if ignorance truly is bliss.
I am going to redouble my efforts to tend my own garden from here on out. I've done all I can do and we seem to have outflanked and attacked by those we thought were allies. The stress of closely watching the republic slip away since the Clintons* has taken quite a toll on me and I want to find some peace.

*I know it started long before the Clintons, but that's when I started getting concerned.
