This has been coming on since Reagan left office, I'm surprised the GOP made it this far.

I was watching Greta Van Sustern on FOX and she said that there are only nine votes against Borhner. That says to me that some of the new Congressmen that ran as conservatives are Libertarians.

This is what I wrote last week at FR. If just enough Conservative Reps. leave the GOP (i.e. leaving Boehner with just a 1-2 member margin over the Democrats), then the new Conservative Caucus (or Tea Party Party) would be the deciding vote in whether Boehner (and eventually Mitchell) would be able to carry out their spineless policies and votes.

They could even vote against Boehner by joining with some Democrats or all the Democrats on some “example” issues. This would bring Boehner’s rule crashing down just enough to force him to resign while not turning over the House to the Dems. Then the Conservatives could come back into the GOP on their own terms and not take any crap from the wimps and weepers.

One can dream, but Bonehead the Spineless has got to go!

“up to one-third of Republicans are ready to call it quits as members of the GOP”

I already have. Registered as Libertarian.

Yay! He finally succeeded in something worthwhile!!

Supposedly, one of obama's goals was to destroy the GOP and there's little reason to doubt the truth of that goal here and now in 2015.

True, he couldn't do it by himself. It took a little time and lots of help by Boehner, McConnell, Cantor and other GOPe types, but we finally got here!

It may be the only good thing he's intentionally done to the country, though doing such a good obviously wasn't his actual intent.

Barry Oh has shown US that nothing is too big to fail, especially not a political party or both political parties that fail their constituents, principles, oaths of office, etc., as our oligarchy's faux two party facade has done continuously since Bush the elder told US to lip read.

Thank you Barry obama for finally pulling back the curtain! I didn't think you had it in you to do a good deed for the nation you seem to despise, but you did!

The problem is, one third of the GOP is enough to make the GOP lose nationwide, but it isn’t enough to win nationwide on their own if they split off.

I only vote GOP if there’s no Constitution Party or independent candidate, though I’m still registered Pubby. (People always wonder why I’m not Libertarian, but I want a political party, not a cult religion.)

Easier and better to purge the establishment than start a new party.

Despite the likes of McConnell/Boehner, recent elections have proved beneficial to Conservatives and somewhat detrimental to the RINOs.

I’m only staying registered as a Repub so i can vote in the primaries - jumping ship totally is a double-edged sword but might be the route to go in the near future.

I’m done and what happened to Chris McDaniels pushed me out of the GOP.

2016 will be entertaining to watch as the GOP looses it all to the Dems again.

I’m against both parties myself. It was turn I started making in a little over ten years as I found that both stunk and wanted the same failed policies. Used to be a republican but they left me. I support now third parties or people I like such as Michelle Bachmann, Sarah Palin, Ted Cruz and others, but every few because I can’t trust them and day by day they let us down. Now Trey Gowdy has been added to a list of traitors as has Justin Amash and Jason CHaffitz even Mia Love voted for Boehner. I can’t trust them anymore.

About the only regret I have about never being a member of the gop faction of the uniparty is that as a result of never joining, I never had the opportunity to quit.
