The protesters stormed the restaurants and harassed staff and patrons.

My question is then: why did these libs vote for an obvious racial, rabble-rouser like DeBlasio who they had to know was going to make racial matters a lot worse?

Turnout was 22%. Not sure how many votes Warren Wilhelm got on the Upper West Side and in the East 60s-80s. Maybe not too many.

I bet he didn't turn out Park Slope, either. As Ed Koch famously said about Bella Abzug's poor showing in the West Village, "Her neighbors know her".

And then what happens to real estate vales in the city?

Depends on how close to Brazil the glass wall on 57th can get.

If they can have armed security and escort vehicles, maybe it won't go down at all.

Does anyone remember that Alka-Seltzer commercial from the '70's? Just start banging empty cups on tables shouting Alka-Seltzer, and it will drown out the latest political aches voiced by unwanted visitors. These infiltrators are also accused as the implied cause of stomach upset.

Not sure what makes you think Animals are unaccountable. I read lots of stories about dogs, wolves, bears, lions and other predatory animals being hunted down and killed by law enforcement/sidh and game depts.

The animals are hunted down because they are a future threat -- not because they were accountable for doing something wrong. Human are held accountable for anti-social actions and are punished commensurately. Wild animals are not considered capable of forming an intention to do something wrong or comprehending right and wrong.

There's a row of ultra-expensive apartments going up on West 57th which is starting to look like a glass wall. A lot of the (unbuilt) apartments are already sold to Chinese, Eurotrash, and, yes, Brazilians.

When they are in residence, with their jets parked at Teterboro, I do not imagine they will be getting out their D'Ag bags and going down the block to buy groceries.

they will want to live the way they live in Rio, in Gstaad, on the Riviera, and in Hong Kong - which kind of limits the scope of #BlackBrunch, neh?

Ok gotcha. I work for someone that has a commercial real estate business on Park Ave that claims to be conservative so it should be real interesting to see how they respond to this latest event in which would be occurring on their turf so to speak. I can’t imagine them turning a blind eye to this like they did when the protesters were clogging up other parts of the city.

They could have spouted their multi-cultural nonsense to their lib friends to keep their liberal bona-fides, but voted differently at the polls all the while publicly (and hypocritically) condemning those “racists” who voted for DeBlasio’s opponent.
