Pegida participants feel buoyed by the fact they are part of a growing movement across Europe of voters who feel that mainstream politicians are far too lenient on immigration. At a typical Pegida rally, supporters talk of their anger that Germany is being overrun by Muslim immigrants; they say many are criminals who need to be deported immediately and they call for an obligatory integration programme. Banner slogans read: “We want our homeland back” and “Send the criminal asylum seekers packing”.
Fears among chancellor Angela Merkel’s conservative alliance were already rife that it is losing considerable support to the budding Eurosceptic, and ever more anti-immigration, Alternative für Deutschland party (AfD). Merkel herself has been accused of creating a vacuum on the right due to her consensus style of politics, which the AfD, and now Pegida – to whom the AfD has openly given its backing – have willingly managed to fill.
The growth of Pegida has only increased calls for the government to tighten asylum rules and speed up the deportation process to appease voters. With so much pressure from within her own ranks, Merkel’s hard-hitting reaction to the group last week was therefore bold and surprising. “I say to all those who go to such demonstrations: do not follow those who have called the rallies, because all too often they have prejudice, a chilliness, even hatred in their hearts,” she said in her televised address to the German people.

The result being that going forward, no viable debate on the issue can take place, virtually guaranteeing that the issue will have to be resolved through conflict and death.
Merkel in a burqa. Her country is being over-run, and she is still an appeaser. The Germans need to retire her ASAP.
People are not stupid.
They have eyes and ears that work,they know about the Muslim criminality, they can see the cars being burned, they hear about the rapes being committed, the beatings, the one-sidedness of Sharia, etc.
They are aware of the encroaching menace, that’s why they’re marching. Who wouldn’t rather be watching TV? THAT’S how serious it is.
And if Angela Merkel can’t understand that, she really is dumb.
For all of recorded history, mankind has rightfully fought to retain the identity and culture of their family, tribe and nation. European nations went to war to retain their national integrity.
In the last 50 years, leftists have presumed this crazy self-loathing idea that society must be made better by allowing so many immigrants that they didn’t have to assimilate. That is they could use immigration as a form of colonization. In the case of Muslim immigrants, this was even in harmony with the Islamic doctrine of conquest by migration. This was made worse by liberal western elite’s inability to hold new immigrants to any meaningful requirement that they assimilate, or that they would even be required to obey local laws.
Now, of course liberals are silly, sad and dangerous when they are in power. Liberals in government even made it a “hate crime” to object to too many immigrants or that immigrants were raping local women. Of course in another setting we know that liberals would be intent on preserving the “indigenous cultures”, but that only applies when westerners interact with isolated tribes in some far off and exotic tropical island. But protect indigenous Swedes from raping Muslim taxi drivers? That would be oppression and xenophobic.
This is not going to end well. In fact blood will be spilled. There are only a few choices. The main ones being that rational locals are going to rise up and replace liberal governments with one that will protect local culture. In the process the Muslim immigrants will either be suppressed or they will be deported. The Muslims will not take this peacefully.
Another big liberal FAIL to be sure.
Yup. The haters. That's the problem. Not the things they hate. Not the rape. Not the plundering hordes. It's the people who hate being victims. That's the problem.

I’ll tell you what, that statement about Merkle creating a vacuum that these groups have filled is exactly right. I’m sorry but taking our cues from Europe on how to function is a bad idea as we have been historically the fire brigade, come to put them out when they do too many stupid things. We are actually following them into this very dark and dangerous place?!
Setup for another “beneficial crisis”. Remember, this is the same woman that declared so-called multiculturalism a “failure” back in 2010.
She is a poster child for the blinders that liberalism can place on an otherwise lucid person.
My current marriage is to an American-born latina. She thinks we are nuts for allowing seall of the illegals in. Guess she is a self-hating latina, then.
And somehow to the liberal mind, even though I married an immigrant and then a latina, I must be a hater of immigrants and hispanics because I oppose illegal immigration.
The Neoeuropas that are all the states from New York north and east are pretty much all Loyalists....... they have more loyalty to Europe than America. They covet that which is Euro, shunning all that is American

I have a chilling vision of millions of immigrants leaving behind impoverished welfare states abroad and arriving at a rich welfare state named the United States — and automatically voting for people who favor increasing the welfare state ever more.
Fact: every native-born or first-generation Latino I’ve ever spoken to is against illegal immigration. Go figure.

Immigrants are supposed to assimilate. This batch doesn’t so they don’t get to come in. That simple.

And why wouldn't it be? Legal Latinos have either been here for generations...or they have done it the right way, jumping thru all the hoops to become legal. In their mind, they are Americans -- not Mexicans (or Guatemalans, etc.).
Moreover, if the illegals get work permits, whose jobs are they going to take?
The Republican party wants to make inroads on the so-calle Hispanic vote? The best way to do it is to stand firm against amnesty!!!
For example, everybody knows where Texas governor Greg Abbott stands on border security and amnesty. And he won 46% of the Hispanic vote...and a majority of Hispanic males.
Further, Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick was an even more vocal opponent of amnesty -- and he won 52% of the Hispanic vote!!! Moreover, his Democrat opponent was a "wise Latina".
Put that in your pipe an smoke it -- Karl Rove, John McCain, et al.

And as I’m sure you’re well aware, you don’t have to marry someone from Pakistan to have people in your family who demonstrate that liberalism can place blinders on an otherwise lucid person.
Probably 90+% of all conservatives have at least one liberal-blinded (though otherwise normal, nice and even smart) person in their family.
My brother is married to a UK woman and both the wife and the adult daughter are obamabots and think that the sun rises and sets on the Great And Wonderful Zero. And yet away from politics they are nice, normal and intelligent people.
Do we have some dimwitted legacy baby with an Indian scholarship student keeper to thank for all of this? Inquiring minds want to know!
