Tattoos of skulls cover Barnum's head, which didn't go unnoticed in court.
"I'd like you to take a look at Mr. Barnum," Mew said. "He has the right to do this to himself and to express himself. We can't sentence him for that, but I think we can consider a guy's attitude and his behavior."
But when Barnum took the stand, he was reflective about what happened.
"I'm humbled by what the chief said. I was out there pretty much running crazy," Barnum told the court. "Everybody knows that I'm not the nicest guy. I understand that what I did was wrong. I can't take none of it back."

He would be great at Mall security.
I will say that as far as these freaks go, his look is actually kind of interesting.
Poster Boy for not getting all tatted up to the point you look like a computer created bad guy. He actually sounds as though he’s thought about his crime and why he slid back into that life. Not many will hire you looking like this unless you’re an actor. Being a successful actor requires disciple and self control too. Not sure if prison health care would pay to get those tattoos removed.
fwiw it doesn’t look as bad as some toupees do.
Is he wearing one of those costume contact lenses to get that eye to look like that, or did he actually (shudder) tattoo the white of that eye? Is that even possible?
The mugshot one wasn’t a bad-looking kid. Looks as if “Jolene” motivated a number of those tattoos, “Property of Jolene” across his forehead, “FUN” on the soul patch.

What kind of mental disorder do these guys have that makes them do this to themselves? Does it have a name? They are sick sick sick.
They should also arrest the tattoo "artist" who did that to him as an accomplice. I'm pretty sure he needed some help making himself look like that.
I cannot imagine a single place I would have these guys work..
= = = = = = = = = =
They could drive the truck that cleans the ‘Johnny-on-the-Spot’ units.
‘Backstage’ at the local ‘peep show’, cleaning the day’s spunk from the walls and ceilings(?) and floors.
Both jobs don’t pay all that much but understand there is an all you can eat clause plus take your truck home with you at night....
At least the neighbors probably wouldn’t dare complain to the driver......
Not a tattoo for the eye. They inject ink using a single needle.
That's why these guys need civil rights protection and lawyers to sue on job discrimination claims. I'm sure Team Obama will be right on it. They would probably make perfectly good pre-school teachers, don't you think?
He never got over those Borg episodes on Star Trek.
Discipline?
On a personal note, I have two small tattoos that I got when I served in the U.S. Navy, both are “covered” by my clothing most of the time. When ever I see young people with their weird tattoos, and in particular women, I see a “calendar” with a picture you can NEVER change. If I had to do it over, I would never have gotten those tattoos. Have them placed on your “naturally” exposed parts of your body is about a dumb as it comes. Who wants to look at or see those freaks?
Insanity. Why people mar their bodies with ugly tats & body piercing is beyond me. It should be illegal to disfigure people.
It’s a skewed fashion sense.
There is a reason some people desire to have a fashion police.
