Who would benefit if Clinton decides not to run?

WASHINGTON — It's hard to imagine Hillary Rodham Clinton not running for president again — and easy to imagine the result of such a decision: political chaos.

"It would be shocking," says Tad Devine, a Democratic strategist who is advising Sen. Bernie Sanders, a Vermont Democrat who is considering a presidential campaign himself.

I know Clinton is, but Warren is only that much more so.

I suppose if someone is emptying a .45 as opposed to a .38 into your body, you’re right. But at that range caliber doesn’t really matter, does it?

The best reader response at the source website- “The whole d@mn country would benefit, especially those Americans called upon to be ambassadors in foreign countries.”

FoxNews had a polster/commentator on yesterday morning. He was basically saying that Hillary needed Jeb and Jeb needed Hillary or neither of them would get very far.

Even the FoxNews host was shaking her head while trying to figure that one out.

I think that's exactly how the Powers That Be are shaping this race.

People like Palin or Cruz always upset the apple cart because they are so fundamentally different from the standard political elite who have no principles and who just seek what's best for the establishment. The media like the status quo and feel much more comfortable with people like Warren and Bush.

The last 3 presidents, each serving 2 terms (22 years, currently) have been relatively youthful, compared to some of the old fossils they ran against.

22 years. Many young voters have never seen an ‘old’ president.

Parties need to take that into consideration — the preferred demographic for most other things is the 18 to 54 age range.

GWH Bush v BJ Clinton
BJ Clinton v Bob Dole
GW Bush v Al Gore [both were basically in the same age group]
GW Bush v John Kerry
John McCain v Barack Obama
Mitt Romney v Barack Obama

Will the Grand OLD Party nominate another fossil?

The factions that derailed Hillary in 2008 are working diligently to derail any aspirations she may have for 2016. Look for a more youthful Dem to step up and sweep through the primaries.

Some other questions would have to be answered before we contemplate the cui bono. And , as in 2008, we do not know at this point who is waiting already groomed in the wings. In 2008 while Mrs. Bill was cleaning up and the ‘obvious choice’ most of the Democrats I know in South Florida already knew that Obama was the One and weren’t even talking about the Clinton Harridan..

I don't think it matters whether Mrs. Bill is nominated or not. No prospective Democrat is even a tad more American than she is and the Republican will be a hopeless Liberal who will not run a serious campaign and will "win" election only if the Democrat makes some really really awful mistakes.

Who would benefit if Clinton decides not to run?

Every man, woman and child on the planet (except for Hillary and her family and friends).
