Should we also regulate the freedom of the Press?? Say only allow those that are TRUTHFUL AND HONEST?? Waht would happen to CBS,NBC,ABC,CNN... I can see a need to with all the Lies and outright Deception by Major News Media Outlets, and from writers just like this. When you start with yourself first, let me know and we can talk about the 2nd amendment.

We don’t need cars to defend against tyranny. If we did the left would outlaw cars and make everyone take public transportation.

No matter how many ways they try to disguise it, the goal of the left is to eliminate gun ownership in this country; which is the last bastion against their dreams of a despotic utopia.

The 2nd amendment does not call for licesnsing. Licensing requirements can change. All gun control is aimed at getting rid of guns.

Sure, and you can renew your $5,000 per year gun license plate every single year at the same time you pay your $5,000 per year firearms tax on each firearm you own. Then there's the county tax sticker for the firearm, the city tax sticker for it, and so on.

Why does this bogus comparison keep coming up every so often ?

You actually think there is freedom of the press?? You actually think that journalists would favor that???

First of all, with cellular technology it is now feasible for any Tom, Dick, or Harry to communicate verbally with every other Tom, Dick, and Harry. The FCC does not allow for that, and the cell phones - even smart phones - accordingly do not offer the capability. With modern technology and spread spectrum, the old “interference” problem is a dead letter. So what is the function of FCC radio licensing? It is to make the licenses scarce and valuable, and give the FCC authority. Nothing else.

I can see a need to with all the Lies and outright Deception by Major News Media Outlets, and from writers just like this. When you start with yourself first, let me know and we can talk about the 2nd amendment.
We have First Amendment abridgement in the form of “Campaign Finance Reform.” SCOTUS has styled political money “speech,” but talk is cheap. What has never been free is ink, paper, and printing presses and operators. Money is “the press.” and the press cannot operate without money. So when Congress passes McCain-Feingold, restricting my right to spend my own money on a particular candidate’s campaign, my freedom of the press is violated.

Don’t assume that the monopoly press we are familiar with is all of “the press,” or that it favors freedom of the press. It doesn’t - it favors and demands, not the rights of the people, but the privileges of the wire service journalism Borg.

Regulation and licensing in relation to firearms are notoriously used by anti-gun politicians to limit the rights of firearm owners.

Which is entirely un-Constitutional. HOWEVER, it is not necessarily the fault of the anti-gun extremists. Here's why:

"GOvernments...derive their just power from the CONSENT of the governed." - Declaration of Independence

Us gun owners have been consenting to the very destruction of our gun rights for decades now. We consent every time we consent to a background check. We consent every time we ask permission for a permit to carry a concealed firearm. We consent to the government having some kind of magical powers to regulate the 2nd Amendment, and thus we are losing it. It's time to stop consenting. FFL dealers should be ashamed of themselves, along with anyone that purchases a firearm from them.

How about we regulate cars like guns. In most states, when someone misuses a gun, it get confiscated. Perhaps cars of drunk drivers, etc, should be confiscated.

point of a marriage license from a state perspective is to record legal status of the birth that result from it..

You are so right, that is why the state should only issue partnership contract for all couples, and leave marriage licenses issues to religious groups

You can buy a Car Private Party and not have to show a Driver’s License.

The same applies for Guns, in the Free States anyway.

Maybe I should have added a sarcasm tag, I though it was self evident. I am fully aware of the propaganda wing of the ruling class.
