In order to enact his implicit idea - forced gun confiscation from law abiding citizens - do you think that might cause some conflict?
This guy is an idiot. That he holds the title “professor” only shows that he was smart enough to play the game.
In rebuttal to this articulate, well-reasoned argument, I offer the following:

You can’t repeal an intrinsic right. It would be like trying to repeal freedom of speech. Sure, perhaps you could get a legislature to pass such a thing. At which point, molon labe.
If the professor doesn’t like our Constitution, he is perfectly free to move to another country where they have removed the right to bear arms from their citizens.

Totally agree. This prof should be eager to engage an Article V convention to repeal it. Good for him to see the merits of using Constitutional means - the Right way to do it.
Now, he should just get to the back of the line for Art V, while the current one for calls to "Limit the Federal Govt" gets underway. Good luck to him, while he wishes the "Limit the Federal Govt" to proceed...

An armed citizenry is just that, citizens, and NOT subjects, to be treated like the Chinese coolies under the Fu Manchu warlords.
Do you know WHY the Chinese coolies wore their hair in a long queue down their backs? When one of these overlords were displeased with the performance of an individual coolie, the queue was seized, pulled forward while the poor unfortunate was in a kneeling position, and the victim was beheaded by the overlord on the spot.
And you thought ISIS was bloodthirsty. They don’t even have the mechanical leverage of the queue pulled forward.

I used to be a college professor. There are some real dipsticks in academia.
You would think that the title of proffesor comes with intelligence, moral judgement,analytical thinking, today most of these professors are communist drug induced left over perverted hippies we the American people pay to school our children. who’s wrong?
Maybe someone should advise him that the first amendment should also be repealed and he should promptly report to jail for thought crimes.

Another rant from a non-expert who has never run anything but his mouth. You can bet the sum total of his observations on this topic came from the MSM and faculty lounge conversations.
Get rid of tenure, or at least limit it
