I did read the article. Then I considered the source and commented appropriately. Even a broken clock is right twice a day. Even Obama gets one right every blue moon. So are you suggesting that we strike up the band? Should we have a ticker tape parade? Yippeee! The dingbat got one right!

smooth, no matter how much you try, or attempt to insult us here on fr, Ann is a liberal, you know it, we know it and she knows it.
I always thought that that "rule" was stupid. Use a search engine to find her image and look at her to your heart's content.
Anyway, it would be nice to stick to the article's subject. It really would.

She’s not “a liberal” - though she does have some moderate, maybe even a few liberal characteristics.
But even if you were right, this was a very conservative column.....why can’t you take it at face value? Why don’t you read more than a name in a headline?
To me, this is not about Ann. It’s about how she lives rent tree in so many Freep heads.
1. Have you read her books? For instance, read Godless and tell me again she is a liberal - with citations to back up your claim.
2. What insult did you endure from me? (can’t see I did anything but ask you to back up your smears and derogatory labels)
3. Define liberal in your terms. She may be more liberal than you, or more aligned to “Realpolitik” than you, but I do not see her as a modern liberal/progressive. FR doesn’t just welcome ideologues aligned to your point of view, or mine for that matter. We are fundamentally “conservative”, but NOT of one mind.
When she insulted conservatives that didn’t follow her over the cliff in her support of Romney, and lets not forget her obsession with Christie in NJ.
Read her, not thanks, as you will soon learn she will begin foaming at the mouth with her support of liberal republicans, aka socialist republicans.
She is neither always right nor always wrong. But.....
You are not always right either. Therefore, I’m not going to ever pay your words any attention - because you’re wrong sometimes therefore every word you post is utter bullth-t. And you’re obsessed besides....
There is not a single syllable of this particular column you can quibble with. I dare you to try.
Stop obsessing, she’s just a writer. Let it go.
...yep....like many of us, I have my problems with Ann.....her support of Christie, her insistence on Mitt being the answer....the Muslim dating thing....etc.
Having said that, it is intellectually bankrupt not to recognize her many years of contributions to the national conversation, and her unique talents that have helped our cause far more than her foibles have hurt it.
