The supposed “Klan” group was not advertised as a Klan group, but there were some loose associations with David Duke. Even if Scalise had spoken to the group, it is completely understandable that he did not know if the “Klan” connection.
I have no opinion on Scalise as a Congressman, never heard of him before. I am only arguing a minor point here. He was waylaid by the media as they will be doing over the next two years to every Republican. Since the “War on Women” meme has failed, they have to establish a “culture of corruption.” That’s how they operate.
