I want a guy who has no fear over the phony issue of "shutting down the government." Overall, I am looking for the House to exercise its full constitutional power to absolutely hogtie the Mombasa MF. Can I get an amen!

Don’t count on it. Remember, there are a lot of demodummies that want to KEEP him in that spot and they have yet to vote for/against Bohner.

For this, I will pray mightily.
And, call your Pubbie Reps, too. They need to hear from as many of us, as possible.
It’s high time to BOOT BOEHNER!

Four votes away? As encouraging as that sounds, it'll never happen. But I'm going to call my Conress creature anyway, just so I have a right to complain about the outcome. You may wish to participate in that effort.

"Split Floor Vote"
SOH requires an affirmative yay from the majority present while the House is in Session.
Democrats cannot elect a speaker without Republican votes.
The most the insurgency can hope for is to stop Boner. The biggest risk is they don't, but p!ss him off.
But there will be no dem speaker.

Like your picks, too.
I am very disappointed in the House Conservatives who have shied away from this fight, at least in public. Lemme confess though, the fact that we are in this nebulous state this late in the game also worries me. I am also worried that the Mombasa MF is now going to really play the "Race Card" big time, as the inevitable natural reaction to this WH/Obama/Holder/Sharpton inspired wave of Negro rioting continues across the country.
Whom does Cruz want in the House? What is the overall Program, Plan, and who's going to Lead? The questions remain the same as before the midterms.

that’s “the word” ... check The Crow’s Nest (Ken Crow) ...

I understood the Speaker does not have to be a sitting Rep.
How about Michelle Bachmann.
Michelle is a strong person, Tax expert, and as a woman would drive the Progressives to Prozac dependancy
To: KarlInOhio
No, you need 218 votes to become speaker and their are only 179 Dems..

Patton, have you posted this information on Sarah Palin’s FB? If you could get her interested in helping out she is one person who can raise a crowd at the drop of a hat.

You need 218 votes to become speaker so 40 Republicans would have to vote for Pelosi.. You think any republican would actually vote for Pelosi?

LOL.
I think this is all a Kabuki Dance.
Because of what Bonehead did on the Crominbus Bill conservatives have
to show enough anger to fool their voters, but not enough to oust Bonehead.
So your 1 vote prediction rings true.
