Mayor Bill de Blasio was booed and heckled as he spoke to the city’s newest cops Monday morning. During a graduation ceremony for the latest class of graduates from the Police Academy, audience members shouted “Traitor!” as Hizzoner took the podium in Madison Square Garden. “You will confront all manner of problems … problems that you didn’t create,” de Blasio told the crowd. “You did!” someone yelled back, prompting laughter and applause. Earlier, de Blasio praised the new cops for “choosing what is a noble calling” and joining “the greatest and finest police department on this Earth.” He also said:

Resignation is not enough for Hizzoner.

Let’s just call him by his real name, not his “I’m a third-worlder just like you!” adopted name.

He was born Warren Wilhelm Junior.

This is an interesting report. I read one earlier today that was quite different. It only said that the graduates didn’t turn their backs oh him, though a “few” in the crowd did. No mention of any uproars.

Resign?

You know better than to think that will ever happen. Democrats don’t resign, including one who still owes $4 million in cheated income tax payments.

I think Wilhelm has visions of running for president. A lot of the humans currently infesting the U.S. are warming up to dictators, fascism, socialism and communism. It reminds them of home but you get free stuff here.

de Blasio defeated Lhota, winning 72.2% to 24% in the City wide election. NYC you wanted him, you got him by a huge margin. Now you feign outrage when you read the fine print that de Blasio is a Communist and police hater???

And New Yorkers think that those in fly over country are stupid (rolling eyes).

I saw the police academy put out of business a coffee shop. The owner complained about illegal parking by cops and he was taken out within months. The Kaiser has a major problem.

De Blasio is his mother's name, which I believe is Italian. Are you suggesting Italy is the 3rd world? Um...

But he can’t resign. If he did he would never be able to run for president.

Yes, it's an Italian name, and it's very common. There's nothing exotic about it, at least not around here. I have one of those kinds of names.

Per Wikipedia, his mother's parents were Italian immigrants, and de Blasio speaks Italian. His father was of German ancestry, but he left the family when Bill was a child. So, we can criticize de Blasio for many things, but his name is his real name.
