While I don’t believe Ebola is a serious health threat, permitting it to enter this continent was unbelievably irresponsible and violates the basic principles of epidemiology. As a result of their irresponsible actions, it would not surprise me that this ‘crisis’, while currently supplanted by other crises to distract everyone from Fast & Furious docs released, IRS docs/emails released, would return labeled as ‘Unexpected new cases’ of Ebola to throw more fuel on that ‘crisis’.
And, frankly...it makes it much easier for someone that WANTED to spread it intentionally by having the virus here (probably the principle reason they got the media to stop reporting on where the cases were).
How convenient, huh?
I think you are right. I just wanted to send you a positive email! Sorry you got an ugly one.
Just like nuclear waste, the government can and does use it’s powers to black out information. Why not send these patients to a military facility and call it a military secret.
The families of these people will be warned that they would be guilty of starting “panic” if they talk and frankly most don’t want to talk because there is a social stigma attached to ebola. The families themselves may be “quarantined” or they dont’ want their city/town avoiding their home like the plague because an ebola patient was seen entering the home or carried out on a stretcher.
The nurse arrived at 11:30pm and was admitted to the hospital in the morning. So, where was she between those times? With family? In the family home? DOes the family want to be known for this? I can see why families may not talk about it.
Prayers up for all who battle this terrible disease - patients and medical staff etc.
Well...i can think of a number of ways...some that leave no trace...and these days...eh...don’t want to go there...
The infection has a tiny spread percentage - It’s not that easy to catch - and she’ll be quarantined and treated.
The media madness over this is ludicrous.
I don’t trust this administration or its sycophants.
I’m sorry. That’s not right.
So you think its irrational to mistrust the Obola administration?
Quick, send her to NYC to mingle with some, “What do we want? Dead Cops!” marchers. She can stick around for the ball drop too.
If you believe that more than 2000 people in the US have Ebola, you have assume that each has 100 friends and family and 100 hospital staff.
That would mean that 40,000 people are in on your CDC conspiracy and all are quiet.
I bet some fraction of these 1400 have it.

So what part of the White Hut are you stationed in?
Bring out your dead! The Dark Man cometh! Bring out your dead! The Dark Man cometh! Bring out your......
(Since all records of obama's past were lost in a tragic boating accident and fire, no one can be certain that the guy in the red circle isn't him...)
Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.
The purpose of the Bring Out Your Dead ping list (formerly the Ebola ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the Bring Out Your Dead threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...
Did she get her Letters Of Transit at Rick's?
I doubt that. Even Ron Klain could not keep people from sneaking into the Ebola wards and reporting over the internet.
Thank God and His Son Jesus for that!
And my bet is..... you’re clueless. Ebola isn’t a threat to first world countries with modern health care systems.
If it is handled properly, its a BSL-4 facility. Not much sneaking in to be done.
That said, Information in the states is being suppressed about the outbreak there in Africa, and about monitored individuals here. The spectrum went dark pretty fast after Klain was appointed and AP went mum.
I don't think there are huge numbers of patients here, but I would not be surprised to find out there are more than we know about from the news. The evac planes keep pretty busy.
What happened to the theory that thousands of people in the US having Ebola?
