To: ASA Vet

I think I have heard “XMAS” a few times, but agree the full word is much more often spoken. I have had people tell me their church was against writing “Xmas” but I believe as a written abbreviation it is historically and religiously appropriate.

You'll find the anti X-Mass folks spring up here on FR every year. Explanations about Greek don't help, they know they're right, so don't confuse them with history.

Speaking of that type thing, aren't we about due for another Fluoridated water thread and argument?
Or maybe it's the gold-bugs turn.
