I live in a predominately Christian southern county
We have just a handful of non Christian families
One moved here a few years ago from Beverly Hills and immediately complained that Christmas break offended their non Christian family
The school board capitulated immediately
Its now called Winter Break
Its an annual struggle here on the board
No...they weren’t Muslim

Didn’t some on the board fight back and get it changed to Christmas again?
If I am in Israel, I am not offended that I can’t get a cab after dark on Friday.
If I am in Turkey, I am not offended by the call to prayer from the minarets.
But I am sorely tried by these phony people who allege that a proper, seasonal greeting is upsetting to them.
I have taken to answering “Happy Holidays”, especially after Chanukah is over, bu saying, “Oh really? What holiday are you referring to?”
