I will have to do some thinking about the points you have made. We can all agree to disagree on this great website. Former radical socialist in my youth in hard scrabble Britain. Now falling into the mode of trying to be positive. I will agree that political correctness has destroyed much of that which made men proud. This in England.
Perhaps a spark might touch off a resurgence of the basic freedoms that started with the Magna Carta. Excuse the ramble.
I remember that she was accompanying her Mother the Queen, on some sort of inspection during the war, and the QueenMum’s shoes hurt, so Princess Elizabeth took her own shoes off and gave them to her Mother. Elizabeth continued on in her stocking feet.

Her Majesty’s Christmas message focused on the spirit of reconciliation, she also mentioned her strong Christian faith (which is getting a rare thing for a Head of State to do these days) with Jesus Christ being the ‘Prince of Peace’, it is in this spirit that I shall move swiftly on from your rather aggressive comments about my fellow countrymen, and hope that you had a very happy Christmas, hosepipe.

That’s fair enough. And I’m sure your gentle elbow jam is taken in the spirit it was intended. I respectfully disagree with your point about Brits and freedom, though. Brits do indeed know what freedom is and, over the last century in particular, have shed copious amounts of blood to maintain it.
The Queen mentioned the Christmas Truce during the First World War and, indeed, from the the blood-soaked field of Waterloo to the vital site of Trafalgar to pock-marked fields in Flanders to blitzed London, British people have laid down their lives in the cause of freedom, as they saw it.
That isn’t nothing.
Your point that democracy is a rigged system is something I have sympathy with though.

There are “NO rights” in the UK never have been.. (or Canada)..
In the Uk(Can) you have permissions granted by givernment.. NO “rights”....
Whats given away can be reclaimed.. and usually is..
In the United States we have God given “rights”.. the givernment didn’t give them..
NOR can it take them away.. the givernment has nothing at all to do with them..
BUT you MUST believe in God and not in a nominal way..
In UK(Can) they believe in givernment..
The U.S. Constitution was Written Down precisely for the purpose of LIMITING federal government NOT ensuring it..
and the Supreme court was issued to vouch safe that that happens..
The America democrat partys whole purpose is to degrade the U.S. Constitution and Supreme Court.. and have been successful..
to promote democracy which is Mob Rule by mobsters (like in the UK(can).. )
England could survive this (( IF )) they were not brain washed for several hundred years by “democrats”.. of varying types..

Just got around to it today; thank you for pointing it out. Brilliantly done and brought tears. No chance of that happening with isis. It happened then because both groups of men in the trenches honored Jesus Christ.
