Liberals everywhere were outraged this week after Rush Limbaugh said a black man playing James Bond would be “ridiculous.” The comments were made on Tuesday in regard to leaked Sony emails that revealed that CEO Amy Paschal wanted the black actor Idris Elba to play James Bond. Rush, however, wasn’t having any of it. “James Bond is a total concept put together by Ian Fleming. He was white and Scottish. Period. That is who James Bond is, was,” the conservative radio show host said. “But now [they are] suggesting that the next James Bond should be Idris Elba, a black Briton, rather than a white from Scotland.” “That’s not who James Bond is and I know it’s racist to probably point this out,” he added. Liberals everywhere are outraged by these “racist” remarks, but what do you think about it? Sound off in the comments below!

Actually, he’s only half-Scottish. His mother was Swiss. ;)
But still, perhaps you are unaware that there are black people in Scotland. Not a lot, admittedly, but there are some. And Bond himself is usually written as more a English Brit than a Scottish one. “For England, James!/For England, Alec” and “I need you, James!/So does England!” spring to mind.
As a fan of the book and film series going back to Connery, I wouldn’t mind him at all. Rush likes to say outrageous things to get attention and boost ratings.
Well, they could always call him BARACK HUSSEIN BOND. That would please all these “RACE HUSTLERS”. They could always say that “HUSSEIN” is an arabic translation of “JAMES”. As stupid as these LIBERALS, SOCIALISTS and COMMUNISTS are, they’ll probably believe it. Next thing that will happen, is that Brad Pitt will play the roll of Nelson Mandela.
Sanford and son should be remade with Bill Murray as Fred Sanford and Justin Bieber as the son (whatever his name is!)
James Bond was a WHITE hero in the movies. If the great Bruce Lee was never considered for Bond, every one else not white is excluded.

I’ve grown tired of the Bond franchise. They’ve done about all they can do with it IMO. The only thing that would interest me would be a Bond set in the 50s during the Cold War. They could even do new versions of some of the books that were buggered first time out, like Moonraker.
