Oh, God will help us, that's guaranteed. But it's not something to be desired. It would be much, much better if people stood up to evil on their own. Bailing on personal responsibility, living lives of hypocrisy and cowardice, and then asking God for help is not the wisest, nor most peaceful, of strategies.
But it does work, if nothing else will.
