I have to agree with you. Law Enforcement today doe not deal effectively with errant members. I’ve seen some egregious stuff that simply gets swept under the rug by the colluding DAs, or the political entity ponies up a bunch of money and those who perpetrated the abuse usually bear little or no personal punishment. And yes, I think that Brown and Garner were both necessary (and legal) arrests, but in Garner’s case the optics were terrible and the manhandling should have been avoided. Lastly, the cop killings in NYC were simply simply the most horrible thing I’ve ever seen. To single out two men at random and just execute them without any cause whatsoever shows you what a depraved place that city is.
It also shows the kind of scum police deal with on a daily basis. And I for one, am glad somebody puts their necks on the line every day to keep that scum away from the rest of us.
