I Am No Longer a Republican
christianpost.com ^ | 12/21/14 | Matt Berber

Posted on 12/22/2014 11:20:17 AM PST by cotton1706

I am no longer a Republican. John Boehner, Mitch McConnell and their Democrat-lite, RINO Republican establishment have seen to that. They have betrayed their own constituents. They have actively turned against the American people – the very voters who granted them power to do good.

Even before the gavel has sounded on the Republican-led 114th Congress, these treacherous cowards shamelessly, eagerly, it seems, squandered perhaps the one opportunity they had to stop, in his tracks, America's first cultural Marxist, anti-American, palpably evil president.

If ever there were, there can no longer be any doubt. Barack Obama is bent on turning the land of the free and the home of the brave into the land of the conquered and the home of the weak. He is an egalitarian globalist who hates America. He has repeatedly spat upon the very Constitution he was sworn to uphold.

Last month Republicans were elected by "We the people" in an unprecedented landslide – in a Democratic Party bloodbath – with clear marching orders. They were given one task and one task alone.

Stop Barack Obama.

They have failed both miserably and willfully.

What's worse is that the Republican establishment has worked in concert with this wicked man. They have aided and abetted him as he and his godless Democratic Party summarily deconstruct all that has made America great. The Republican Party is complicit in the ill-fated fall of the American Empire.

I don't know what kind of dirt Barack Obama and his NSA-KGB have on John Boehner, but within a week of the elections it became abundantly clear that the GOP would betray us.

Yep. President Jug Ears jumped the gun but got a pass by the press, of course.

That is right. They were essentially saying Bush 43 “needed” to stop being president IMMEDIATELY and turn the reins over to president Elect Jug Ears.

Repeal posts:

I am an anti-democrat.

If by that you mean that you will vote for any Republican on the premise that doing so is "anti-democrat," then what you really are is a willing vote such to strengthen leftism in both parties.

You gotta own what you vote for -- it's the price of voting "against."

No, seriously. I demand honest answers that aren't worse than continuing to support the GOP. Really now, what have you got?

You demand "honest answers!" That's rich coming from someone willing to vote for moving the Republican party on board with the Democrat agenda. Hello? Your vote for Romney was a vote "against" Obama IN YOUR DREAMS, pal. Voting against is voting for the tooth fairy.

Continuing to support the GOP, at the very least in the 2016 presidential if the party nominates another functional Democrat Republican, is the biggest sucker's bet of the century. A total losers' game, a con, a charade. Vast numbers of American voters are aware of it. It is why Romney lost. Americans were too smart for the con game.

You don't get to vote "against" a friggin' thing. YOU should stay home until you are willing to be accountable for what you vote FOR. THAT is your choice.

Then maybe a third-party candidate can:

a) so divide the vote that whichever leftist amoral government-pushing functional Democrat wins, the Republican or the Democrat, it will be under clear opposition of a majority of American voters. It will make that left-leaning president WEAK, as Clinton was weak both terms and the Republican Revolution succeeded.

b) or better scenario of a limited government conservative third party candidate WINNING with a plurality, the price being that he, too, would be weakened by the plurality split, but the risk is worth it

c) or BEST CASE and very unlikely scenario of limited government third party candidate win with a clear majority, a mandate from the American people. That would be a miracle.

YOU can go on voting to turn the Republican party left. That is all that you're doing.

I will vote to weaken which ever leftist R or D wins.

THAT is the choice you and I have "got."

You’re the guy voting for functional Democrats like Romney. THAT smells as bad as it gets.

I have to say that I think you are full of something that smells bad.

You, who apparently thinks that voting for a functional-Democrat Republican is "anti-democrat" --

-- your tagline, "We have met the enemy and he is us" is so ironic. YOU are the one voting for the leftists. YOU have met the enemy, and he is you. In the ballot box, anyway.

All because you're so eager to be accountable for what you vote against -- and evasive to the point of deceit when it comes to owning what you vote FOR.

The tagline refers to the commonality of “we the people”.

I do not vote “for” leftists.
I vote for the most “rightist” that I can get.

The tagline is accurate just the same. You vote such to turn the Republican party left. You INTEND to do the opposite, but intentions and actions are very different things.

You have found the enemy, and it is you.
