Bratton: Cops shouldn’t have turned backs on de Blasio

EXCERPT

Commissioner Bill Bratton acknowledged that de Blasio has lost support of some police.

“I don’t think it (the hallway protest) was appropriate, particularly in that setting, but it’s reflective of the anger of some of them,” Bratton told NBC’s “Today” show.

(snip)

“I don’t know that an apology is necessary,” he said. “One of the things, a concern at the moment, is this issue is really starting to go down partisan lines, Republican-Democrat. This is something that should be bringing us all together, not taking us apart.”

Funny, I lock my Doors to protect my Family and our belongings from Democrats and Liberals, not Republicans and Conservatives.

The hatred for New Yorkers in some circles is both real and socially acceptable. Pure bigotry

So Bratton admits the current tensions in the city are a repeat of the 1970’s. Yet he does not equate it with deBlasio being the Mayor and stoking the black racist anarchy in NYC? DeBlasio has been in office only about 11 months, and it has been downhill every since!!!

Dude, I think it goes this way. I grew up and lived in Philly for 46 yrs, retired early to Texas 12 yrs ago. I’ll be honest, my family had history in the city for 300 yrs plus my Irish famine side. Even though we were only 90 miles from NYC, I never really liked the NY or Boston accent. What I didn’t like the most was the Gumba speak, even in South Philly. It’s funny but all the Gumba’s either know someone in the Mafia or is related to one.
Since coming to Texas people use to mention my accent and I’d notice theirs. But to be honest I haven’t had anyone say anything about my accent or even noticed theirs for a long time.
I think the negative you received in Mass. is this, the Yankee boys love when southern girls speak but they look at when Southern boys speak it sounds soft. I’m not saying it is but like you sad they think all Southerns are stupid and that’s the truth in what they think.
Fact is, if people were blessed enough as I to live in Rural Texas in truly God’s country where people are actually friendly and still say good morning, hold the door for you and help old ladies with heavy packages.
I love Texas and go Cruz.

Exactly and they want you to believe Deblasio, Sharpton, and Obama didn’t inflame this thing.

I agree.

BTW, can you imagine the rioting if those two cops had shot Ismaaiyl Abdullah Brinsley in self-defense?

Race baiting, race hate, lies, etc. should not be bringing us apart. Really. Calling for the murder of our police officers should not be bringing us apart? Calling for attacks on white people, should be us all together? And he uses the word “partisan”? It is more like human beings versus non-humans.

Sharpton, Obama, DeBlasio and Holder poured gasoline to the race hatred fire, but also share responsibility the companies that finance Sharpton’s race war.

These are some of the companies that finance Sharpton’s race war, Anheuser-Busch, Macy’s, Pfizer, NY Developer Forest City Ratner, MGM, Pepsi, Macy’s, Honda, Chrysler, General Motors, FedEx, Continental Airlines, Johnson & Johnson and Chase. Al Sharpton is able to fly around the country advocating for violent protests and the murder of cops because many of the nation’s top corporations have fallen for his shakedown efforts and give him millions to fund his activities. It is time to pressure these corporations to stop finding this charlatan’s efforts.
