PHOENIX (AP) — Many young immigrants protected from deportation under an Obama administration policy are expected Monday to begin applying for Arizona driver's licenses, a privilege first denied by the governor but now given to them by the courts.
The Arizona Department of Transportation said it's anticipating a rush of immigrant applicants in the weeks ahead at Motor Vehicle Division offices statewide.
It comes after a judge barred enforcement of Gov. Jan Brewer's policy of denying licenses to about 20,000 immigrants living in the country illegally. The governor is asking the U.S. Supreme Court to review her appeal.

States better start exercising their fundamental rights of sovereignty before there isn’t any left to exercise.
Kindly go to Hell would be a good start at any court decision that goes against the sovereignty of the State to run it’s ship anyway it sees fit.
Refusing to engage in being blackmailed by federal court decisions would also be a good start.
Linnig up? Are they giving them away? Do they have to take the test and pay the fee? If not, why does everyone else?
Ignore the judge. Who will enforce his ruling? The state police who work for the governor? Can an illegal demand a license? What if they don’t pass the drivers test?
They get “special” lib licences. Right on the license, it says “No insurance required. Hit and Runs permitted.”
So the courts and O’bastard demand that states issue licenses to illegals, OK in whose name?
Who’s name goes on the license? One they made up from a stolen ID? Can the states put the Judge’s name on the license with the illegal’s picture? If not, why not, nobody knows who they really are?
Put O’bastard’s name on the license, and use one of his many fake SS numbers. I’d put the same damn name on every one of them!
This is not the America I grew up in. So sad what this government has done.

Driving tests are racist. License fees are racist.
So, they only apply to white people who are, by definition, racist.

I was standing in Horton Plaza, in San Diego yesterday. I swear to you, it felt like I was in a third world country. Trash of every ethnicity, loud, abrasive, obnoxious. People outside hawking “free phones” to people they obviously picked because they looked a certain way. Just sick.
I hope those licenses have an over-print to the tune of “NON-CITIZEN” or “ILLEGAL ALIEN” and in smaller print “not valid for voting.”
(Glad I got my renewal last week. A whole 30 minutes in MVD.)
